We have been going to this location for a couple of years and usually it is fantastic but I’m not sure if it’s under new management but today was extremely disappointing. We ordered 2 burrito dinners with everything including avocado. The meat today was Chewy and some of it i had to spit
Out. Neither burrito had avocado on it. So I decided to call because I spent almost $5 for avocado on 2 burritos. When I called i was told he would check with the cook and came back saying that they put avocado on there. Not on my burritos !? I dont appreciate being accused of lying. We ate the burritos and there was absolutely no avocado. After I hung up they called me back to tell me they would refund for the avocado but it will take 8-15 days. I will not be returning to this location anytime soon.

Great food, we unfortunately had a poor experience with catering. After confirming order, pick up time/location a few days prior our order was lost. When we arrived for pick up the workers were unaware of a catering order. Food was still made for us but we were late for our own party. We also did not receive all of the food we paid for and we were not offered any discount.

Food was good and fresh but my food stuck to the styrofoam container the last few times and couldn’t enjoy it all as styrofoam stuck to the tacos. Please stop using toxic styrofoam containers or at least line the bottom with foil to protect the food from sticking and people aren’t eating styrofoam.

BAYBEEEEEEEE!!! Best tacos the frankfort/mokena area has to offer. It’s inside the gas n wash and trust me when I say best tacos around. Very affordable, taste amazing! My go to is the steak taco dinner. You get 3 tacos, rice and beans for about $12. Worth every penny!

Man, when your friends tell you the gas station tacos are incredible, they’re not lying. The food is so flavorful and tastes fresh. Blows competitors out of the water. Beans are on the spicier side, but I love them. They’re not too salty or runny either. Elotes is excellent. Rice is delish. We’ve tried all the meat options in the tacos and enjoyed them all. Only mild inconvenience is that you have to get fountain pop from the gas station so it’s another transaction, but it’s easy enough to just get while you’re waiting for your food to be ready. It’s in a gas station, so not ideal for dining for dinner but there are several tables if you’re grabbing a quick bite for lunch. For take out, I 100% recommend.

Check your order! Twice I ordered sour cream and guacamole and both times nada! First time I let it go because I thought it was an honest mistake. Second time I called and they argued that it was on the burrito. Friend I was eating with confirmed there was nothing. She even said sometimes it’s on the back of the ticket and the cooks miss it. Out of all their orders they specifically remember that one order. Worst part is they take no accountability.

Food has consistently been good, but the service has never been. No one is disrespectful, but grabbing pickup is a nightmare. My food will be sitting out, but I’ll be waiting for 15-20 minutes in a line or to talk to the cashier. It’s often not ready when they say it will be.
Tried their curb-side option this last time, after fifteen minutes had passed since their stated pickup time, we had to go in anyway.
Just not worth the hassle of actually getting the food you ordered.

Food is good but they are always running out of things. Today they had no cheese the other day no tamales prev time no guacamole. How does a food place consistently run out of things. Like I said food is good but very poor management. There are days I order from the mobile app pay for the food and come to find out they are out of the items and still get charged. Very Poor management

Horrible, the order was wrong after repeating twice. The burrito shell was folded in half and rolled twice. So it was less than half the size of most burritos. It looked like a smashed hunk of garbage. The steak was orange and not even warm the tortillas was stale and hard like chewing bubble gum. This is an disgrace to the original Ta Canijo. We dined in so it wasn’t like the food was t eaten right away. The tables were filthy way 3 tacos one burrito a crummy excuse for $25.
