We visited with a group of eight and were seated promptly, which we appreciated. After being seated, there was a delay before our server came to take drink orders, so we ultimately placed our food and drink orders at the same time.
When the food arrived, several members of our party received their meals significantly later than others, after the rest of the table had already begun eating.
While we understand that delays can happen, clearer communication from both the server and the manager would have been helpful. A brief explanation or direct update would have gone a long way, rather than a passing comment of “thanks for your patience” while walking away.
We’re sharing this feedback in hopes it can help improve communication and overall service for future guests.

Beautiful intimate establishment. Clean facility including restrooms, bar, waiting area and seating areas. Food is delicious and well prepared. Customer service was great. Suggestions were on point. Lavender lemon drop was great, pimento cheese grits was the highlight for sides. We had 8oz sirloin steak, mash, asparagus (not seasoned well but tender) , shrimp corn chowder soup (subd from a salad for $3 up charge), fish and chips for entrees. Everything was seasoned well and great portions. Cheese cake I’ve had better elsewhere. Prices are fair. We also had the crown flight it’s basically 4 shots for $32. I don’t have to order that again but I’d definitely be back.

Today’s experience was my first encounter with the restaurant and it was an unpleasant one. The waiter wasn’t friendly and didn’t provide recommendations or refills. The kitchen was extremely slow and it took our food 1hr15mins to come. We were only given an update after we asked for the check for our drinks. When the food came it was lukewarm. As compensation for poor service, the waiter took $10 off the bill. The pictures are from our food when it was delivered to the table. Hopefully someone else will have a better experience.

Love the new triple club. I feel like there are new menu options which really appeal to me. When I go to a restaurant, I want to order something I can’t easily make at home….making a good club is an art and a pain and The Feedsack accomplished it. My bonus-mom really liked her chicken lemon caper cream pasta. If you go before 7, a glass of wine costs what a glass of wine should cost, $6 (happy hour). I do wish the appetizer game was a little more on point. It’s really polarizing. Eggs, squid, Brussel sprouts, truffle. I mean, come on. Everything else was Golden!

Great meal and service. Skyler our sever was great. Met the owner and he was friendly. The roast beef sandwich that I ordered was great. My dining companion had the fish and chips. Happy to see haddock as the fish. Will be back.

The food was delish. I enjoyed the salmon meal. Our server was even better. He was pleasant, warm, and attentive! When I go back, I will definitely request him as a server! Unfortunately, I can’t recall his name. I believe it was Ryan. We let the manager know how amazing he was as well.

Pretty good version of fish and chips. Mom enjoyed her huge 1/2 fish sandwich with tomato soup, and Dad said the bacon was plentiful on his 1/2 BLT and the chicken with wild rice soup was good too. Nice interior decor in strip mall location.
Will try to return to try the Brussels that smelled delicious, and the pork belly that looks right up my alley.

Stopped here for a quick bite during a road trip. Got simple meals, burgers and chicken sandwich + a few apps. Everything came out decent, nothing mind blowing nor disappointing. Server was very friendly.

This is a hidden gem! The windows are tinted dark so it doesn’t look like they’re open, but they are! Thomas is great and the deviled eggs and the burger were divine! I’ll definitely come back.

I absolutely Love this quaint little delicio-hole. I have only ever been to this North Augusta location but I loved it, both times I have been. There is one close to my house in Aiken but I have not eaten at that one YET. SOON, I expect. I met some family there for dinner twice and the entire place was a delight. I have worked in some of the highest end restaurants in Savannah, GA and I have eaten at just about all of the nice places there, and since those days it can be rather difficult for a restaurant to impress me. Im always judging the quality and attention to detail of the service, the atmosphere and esp the menu and execution of those dishes, said menu lists. The Feed Sack (at least the N. Augusta location), really has impressed me. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy from the first step through the front door. And you have to take into account the semi-shady location atmosphere as well. Meaning, the Walmart parking lot is attached to the strip-mall in which this Feed Sack reins. So, as you might clutch your purse (ladies…..I’d presume) and lock your doors before making it more than a few feet away from your vehicle. -(This part is probably for anyone, male female, whatever else or in-between, both, whatever, whomever. I aint asking but I aint judging either). However, once you make it into the restaurant, into relative safety from the outside Wally-world, possi ilities abounding, the comfort and pleasantness of the immediate view made me feel almost like I was back on Broughton Street or City Market in Savannah. Almost. The lighting is low but not too dark. The bar is across the room in clear view and without the sometimes loud regretful regular patrants, who can easily turn newcomers away if they have had perhaps too many of those absolute and cranberry faves….lol. It struck me as well managed, clean and organized. Not just the bar either. The dining room is through the large open double-doorway and tablecloths were draped cleanly on each table. The diners all seemed to be well groomed and respectful of others around them. And the servers, bartenders and hostesses appeared to be young, modernistic sort of college students. Piercings and maybe even a funky hair-cut/style or two. I appreciate that sort of hiring practice, whereas some can find certain appearances such as some of these, off putting or “weird.” Maybe even “scary,” if you dont know anyone who likes to express themselves in a similar way, and have not seen that most people who are confident enough to present themselves publicly with such a design, are actually incredibly intelligent, artsy (and actually talented), and in my experience, usually extroverted and actually have interesting things to say, if given the opportunity. Anyhow (sorry…..I digress), the seating was busy but still found ourselves at a table quickly. The appetizer chosen one night was the Potstickers or dumplings of some kind. Apologies for not recalling the dish names here. They were so tasty and all of us, at our little 4-family-member-dining-brigade wished there was a choice for this as a whole entre.’ Sadly there was not, but believe me, the entre’ choices do not disappoint by any means. My favorite, and I believe a sentiment felt by all at our table, is the Braised Short Ribs with collard greens and mashed potatoes. Good ole’ comfort food that fills you up and makes you wanna sit on the couch with more wine and maybe nap secretly for a while. That execution of the short ribs was so darn flavorful and as tender as Nany’s pot roast! Gravy makes sure the potatoes get some love as well and I am a Huge fan of well-done (I mean deliciously cooked and not destroyed) collard greens. These were fantastic. They were not mushy and tasted fresh and although my mom doesn’t like them when they have sugar added, (which these do possess a slight sweetness, but far from too much sweetness for my taste), I thought these were great. The potatoes were nice and rich and certainly compliment the Sunday dinner, comfort food
