We stopped for lunch. The food was well made and nicely presented. I personally didn’t like the taste of the cabbage in the grilled cheese sandwich. Also, I thought that the romaine lettuce in the Cesar salad was not chopped small enough to eat. Could have had more dressing as well. The seating inside is comfortable but some areas are freezing cold due to the AC. The outside seating is lovely.

Friend of mine told me they’d had lunch here, so I was going through and was past dinner time to drive all the way to Gillette, so I stopped in. Looked super busy but don’t think you are going to have to wait, staff was very nice, quick and easy to deal with. Bright, clean nice dining area and the food! Wow! I have to go back because I was stuffed and so many more options to try! Definitely recommend anyone to stop in and try!

Hunter, our waiter, was AMAZING!!!! There was a large 22 tabletop that ordered right before our table of 3 and he did everything he could to make sure we were taken care of while our food was on hold. The food, pretty great. The baked Mac n Cheese with Chicken was pretty spot on. It seemed a little small but was pretty filling. The roast chicken was cooked to perfection. The shishito peppers for an appetizer were so good! For dessert, the cheesecake of the moment was a kiwi cheesecake. Our party was a 2 out of 3 for likes. Definitely not something I had tried before. All in all a great experience and would highly recommend a visit. Oh and the Green Goddess drink…..a must have on a hot day!

Lots of options and incredibly friendly staff!! The view of the creek from outside is gorgeous and complimented an amazing dinner really well. I got the gnocchi with chicken for dinner, the apple bread pudding for dessert, and the Spicy Bee as a drink! I cannot recommend any of these dishes more than is humanly possible, it was all incredibly delicious. I definitely splurged on myself but I think anyone can easily get away with $20-$30 a person! So so worth it and really easy access right off the interstate.

When we got to Spearfish we weren’t really sure what we were expecting the food experiences to be like. We assumed American Midwest vibes and killer bison options. We stopped into The Farmhouse on our second day. We had the meatballs and we were instantly intrigued! We have traveled and tried cuisines across the globe. This was unique in all of the best ways. The service was outstanding, friendly, and we felt right at home. The drink menu was well rounded with a little something for every pallet. The menu was very different than other restaurants in the area. Every bite was full of flavor and perfectly balanced. We ended up coming back 2 times (would’ve been 3 but we barely missed brunch). We had the meatballs (pictured below) and the apple walnut salad the first time. We over heard there was a carrot ginger soup, but were too full to try it. We sampled a few other restaurants and were underwhelmed to say the least. On our second visit we had the soup of the day, an amazing tomato basil, and the apple cabbage grilled cheese KILLER COMBO! Again we were too full to try anything else, but knew we needed to! Missed brunch (rookie mistake) and came back the day before we headed home. We shared the Tuscan salad, PB&J (trust me it is not that you think it is), and the most divine bread pudding. I cannot recommend this place enough! Go, try everything, and then go back for more! Meredith, Christopher, and Jeremiah have brought something truly special to Spearfish!!

Everything was amazing! The staff was friendly and warm especially Kaylor, the food was on point and cocktails went down smooth! Perfectly breaded hot honey chicken sandwich, flavorful hummus, tender and not overly sauced pulled pork and the portion sizes were great! My mom and grandma are not easy women to please when it comes to dining out and they loved it.
I will definitely make this a must stop next time I come through Spearfish! What a treat!!!

It was very clean and well decorated restaurant. The staff was very nice and informative as well

Visited here while on a little weekend getaway. The place is on the smaller side but we were seated immediately on a Friday night (got to love off season). The staff were very friendly and attentive. The nachos and queso were very good and fresh. The roasted chicken was great but they skimp on the potatoes for some reason. I would think for $28 you would get a huge helping of them. My wife’s ribeye dip was fantastic and she had a ton of fries.
