Went to the farmhouse as it was close to my buddies house. The waitress/bartender was very nice, very quick on refilling the drinks. Food was good but not great. Philly cheesesteak was a little dry. Fried pickles were pretty dang good. Fries were good. Crab Rangoon was ok. The guys bathroom was in decent shape however toilet paper was a little low.

Drove over to Delavan to try out the Farmhouse for the first time. When we pulled up we thought that they were closed because there weren’t any cars parked around the building. We realized they were open now and went on in, I guess we were the only people planning on eating lunch there today at that time. A couple people walked in afterwards but not many. Didn’t have to wait too long for our food and the cool thing about that is it all came out fresh. As a starter, we ordered the mozzarella cheese sticks. There were three of us and we got six so it worked out perfect! Between the three of us we ordered the chicken strip basket and the tenderloin basket. It all came out fresh, the chicken strips were pretty large too. We also got the mozzarella cheese sticks and the fried pickles, our bill ended up being about $60 with the tip.

So the wife and I just got home and may have to take a food nap! We are so full! We ventured over to Delavan, IL for some food at The Farmhouse. Everything was top notch, clean, inviting, super friendly staff (and clientele), delicious verity of beer (wife had a cider) and best of all the food! It was so good and so big! I had a horseshoe, chicken, philly cheesesteak and some darn good waffle fries. My wife had the Saturday special: 16oz NY strip cooked to perfection! It was fantastic! I’m going to honest, I would have gotten a picture of her steak but my fat self was hungry and my food looked and tasted so good that by the time I pulled my fat face away from the fork she had already torn into it a bit and it wouldn’t have been a fair picture of how great it really was. So, sorry about that but I’m not really sorry because it was great and I’m too full to feel bad. ☺️

This place is great … amazing, affordable food with the nicest employees. There’s a pool table, great food, great drinks, and the people who showed up were extremely friendly and all seemed really cool … I will definitely be going back and fully recommend everyone to check this place out! Shout out to the bartender… she was professional and truly just a fun person to talk to! Overall, this made the experience one to remember

I got the new smash burger and fries the burger was really good the fries were a very small half a handful in a basket. I’m not a fan of the tiny basket. Everyone else got horseshoes and for the same price got mounds of fries. The wait was forever a good half hour for the 5 of us. Our waitress was super sweet. It was pretty slow while we were there we were the only table a few at the bar. So can’t blame being busy for slow service.

We went here last night…on a Monday. it wasn’t real busy when we got there. It took forever to be waited on & then the guy waiting on us, had an attitude for some reason. He was real rude and snotty the whole experience. I ordered a chicken philly horseshoe and got a chicken philly sandwich. Someone in our party ordered the bluegill dinner and got nasty, soggy fish. Not even sure it was bluegill. Normally we have good luck here but last night ruined it. $80 bucks down the drain for trash food and rude service.

We went to The Farmhouse tonight, most of us for the first time. A large group of 14 people. An excellent variety of Pub style food on their menu. Honestly, under priced food, relative to portion size, etc. our family had everything from various Horseshoes(delicious!), to steak sandwiches, to country fried steak. Everything was excellent. I can’t recommend this place enough for quality pub food at a can’t beat it price.
