This is a great little spot I found by accident. I was really surprised to find such a cute little spot in Tecumseh. It was a bit of a drive to get here but well worth the stop. So many great desserts in the bake shop, a super good breakfast and much to look at. Restaurant was cozy and comfortable. Staff friend and helpful. You have to order up front and they offer you the chance to tip up front. That’s my really only negative comment. The food was delivered to our table, drinks are self serve except the orange juice. The quiche was a huge portion and the prices were wonderful. The toast was homemade bread and fantastic. Our meal for three had two waters and one OJ. Final price was right at $10 a person. My four eggs and two sausage was $8.99. Great pricing. I would have tipped 20% after my meal but i just can’t ever assume the service is worth a tip until after my meal.

First off, I have owned my own diner before here in Oklahoma. My husband have over 36+ years as a GM in food. Don’t get the nachos( I ordered pulled pork) they were cold when brought out to me. A kind lady who worked there saw that I wasn’t eating, and heard me talk about the nachos being cold. She brought me a remake and then flat out lied to my face saying she looked at the ticket and we ordered it 20 mins ago that’s why they were cold. No they were brought to me ice cold, I touched them immediately to see because I was hungry. The second batch had warm meat but no way was it 145 degrees and then I bit into a clump of fat….sooo gross. Sorry to say this is my first and last time.
The people I came with, my dad who didn’t really enjoy his breakfast sandwich and my sis who did like her omelette.

We’ve been many times and would say that it may be even better with the new ownership. Lunch today was burnt ends for me and meatloaf for my honey. The food was excellent! Yummy sides we had included green beans (with flavor), hash brown casserole, mashed potatoes and brown gravy and bread. We were checked on twice to make sure we didn’t need anything. After lunch, like most people, we hit the dessert area and took home four treats: lemonberry cake, wedding cake, Tiramisu and German chocolate. We will one-bite these desserts all night. A great experience despite the crowd and no surprise that they are super busy over lunch hour.

This place was recommended to us by a host at the State campground close by. It did not disappoint! My wife & I shared a 3 meat combo with baked beans and cheezy hashbrown casserole. The meats were; chopped brisket, smoked kiebasa and pork ribs. It was all very good! We’re bbq judges and those pork ribs would have scored high in a contest. Actually, everything we ordered was top notch. The staff & the atmosphere was super. We will definitly stop there again if in the area.

Good breakfast. Loved the gift shop and decor.. On the negative….I didn’t like the fact that they ADD 3.9% charge added to your bill if you use a CARD to pay In their restaurant area and gift shop. It should be part of their operating costs not mine.! I noticed on our ticket the 20%tip we left was calculated after tax was added AND the credit card fee was added to our bill…so in reality our tip was 21.94% because we paid 20% tip on the sales tax and 20% tip on the credit card fee. I dont think most people realize this…..Not all businesses do that, but there are those that do.

Barbecue and comfort food with amazing desserts in one place. Yes! Not to mention the amazing fudge and products for purchase. Honey, jams, take home meals, and jewelry to name a few. Their breakfast is amazing and it is hands down my favorite place to get breakfast. The staff are amazing and friendly. Service is great. They exceed 5 stars!

I do not like paying for my food and being prompted for a tip before I even get any service or food…that is bad business in my book. You basically are your own hostess/waitress…had one lady check on us the entire time we were there. The chicken fried steak was more of a frozen patty that had been microwaved…it was nowhere near hand breaded and skillet cooked. The menu said allow 15 minutes for the chicken fry and I got mine in @ 5 minutes…you do the math. Atmosphere was good and I will give it a second chance, maybe. There were 5 of us and the others found it acceptable at best, not in line with the hype on social media.
