This place has indoor and outdoor seating. The day was sunny and warm so we chose to sit inside. It is very airy with high ceilings, kind of like a barn. It was 9:30 AM or so and there are not many people inside. We got a booth and looked over the menu.
The wife chose the egg sandwich. I knew she was going to because the waitress asked her to choose between fruit, something else, and roasted potatoes. As soon as the waitress said they were roasted fingerling potatoes, my wife had no further questions. She loves those kinds potatoes.
I chose their Challah French toast. French toast is my go to dish for new breakfast places. I wanted to see how this restaurant stacked up. We also both had coffee, which was good.
The coffee was good. The restaurant was not too noisy so we could enjoy our conversation without having to yell at each other. I was looking out the front of the restaurant and enjoying the parade of eclectic locals and tourists without having to worry about sitting in the sun.
Food arrived and it looked delicious. The wife was very happy with her egg sandwich. It comes with bacon, she likes hers crispy, and that is just how they prepared it. Of course, he likes her fingerling potatoes any way the restaurant makes them and they were not burned so she was happy about that. She ate the entire plate, sandwich and potatoes.
My food came with a little beaker of maple syrup on the side and the toast was covered in mixed fruit. I’m not really a fruit kind of guy but this fruit was fresh and I ate all of it. The host was thick well cooked and had the slightest hint of cinnamon. Needless to say, I ate the entire plate, too.
We were both satisfied and happy with their choices. The coffee kept coming and then it was time to leave. This place is a little more expensive than others I have frequented. However, it is Beverly Hills, one block over from Rodeo Drive and somebody has to pay the rent.
I will be back in the area next week and will most likely come back again. One more thing of note. Beverly Hills, like most places in Southern California, is suffering from a severe drought. If you want a glass of water on your table, you have to ask for it, movie star or not.
From the moment I stepped into The Farm, I was captivated by its warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior exudes a rustic charm, with wooden accents, cozy seating, and soft lighting that create a comfortable and welcoming space. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind and enjoy a leisurely meal.
The menu at The Farm of Beverly Hills showcases a variety of classic American dishes with a twist, highlighting fresh and locally sourced ingredients. From hearty breakfast options to satisfying lunch and dinner choices, there is something for everyone. The Farm’s commitment to using high-quality produce and seasonal flavors was evident in the vibrant and flavorful dishes they served.
One standout dish I enjoyed was the Farmhouse Benedict, featuring perfectly poached eggs nestled on a bed of crispy bacon and toasted English muffins, topped with a rich and velvety hollandaise sauce. The combination of flavors was indulgent and comforting, making it an excellent choice for breakfast or brunch.
The Farm of Beverly Hills also offers an array of freshly baked goods and pastries that are hard to resist. From flaky croissants to decadent cakes and pies, their bakery section is a treat for those with a sweet tooth. Pairing a freshly brewed cup of coffee with one of their delectable desserts is the perfect way to end a meal.
The service at The Farm was friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. The staff members were knowledgeable about the menu and provided recommendations based on individual preferences. However, during peak hours, the wait times for food and service could be a bit longer, which slightly affected the overall experience.
The restaurant’s outdoor patio area is a delightful spot to enjoy your meal amidst the beautiful California weather. Surrounded by greenery and adorned with charming details, it offers a peaceful escape from the bustling city. It’s an ideal setting for a leisurely brunch or an intimate dinner under the stars.
One aspect where The Farm of Beverly Hills could further improve is the pricing of certain menu items. While the quality of the food is commendable, some dishes might be considered slightly overpriced compared to similar offerings in the area. Nevertheless, the overall experience and ambiance make it a worthwhile visit.
In conclusion, The Farm of Beverly Hills offers a charming culinary retreat where rustic ambiance meets delectable cuisine. With its farm-inspired concept, quality ingredients, and cozy atmosphere, it provides a satisfying dining experience. Whether you’re seeking a hearty breakfast, a leisurely brunch, or a cozy dinner, The Farm of Beverly Hills is a place where you can enjoy good food and a relaxed ambiance in the heart of Beverly Hills.
Service was fast and friendly. No tables inside right now because of covid. We had a house salad that lacked flavor. The waffle with chicken was good. The cheeseburger was a expected. Salmon with quinoa was probably our best meal. Nothing to write home about, but no complaints either. High priced though probably comparable given the location. Expected more. Expected something special. All in all, decent lunch.
they offer all day breakfast and lunch (from 10 am to 3:30pm)
you could sit inside or outside the restaurant
the outside view is also good
highly recommend egg benedict
2 poached egg with ham on an english muffin
i love the Hollandaise sauce
it is a prefect match with the benedict
they offer potato, green for the side
crispy chicken sandwich
surprised that the jalapeño slaw is so match with the crispy chicken
amazing!
they offer fries and green (+ 2 dollars for sweet potato fries)
i love the fries
however, they charged additional 5% for employee benefit
The shrimp was nicely seasoned, the dressing on the salad was not too heavy, the tortilla added a solid crunch, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating.
If the weather permits it, sit outside. Although the ceilings are high, inside feels stuffy and slightly crowded.
