This place is awesome!! I don’t know if my 5 family members/guests will get around to leaving a review but The Famous gets 5 stars from all 5 of us! We had the ribeye, the roasted chicken, the Chilean seabass, and the sirloin a-5. Everything was excellent. The one and only recommendation we had was that the steaks were slightly over seasoned.
Crab cakes are possibly the best I’ve ever had. Definitely the best I’ve had in Colorado.
The sides (mashed potatoes, mushrooms and asparagus) were perfectly cooked and flavored.
I had the berries and cream dessert and it was perfection.
The space is stunning, very high end. The food was excellent. The service didn’t miss a beat. The atmosphere was warm and classy. 10/10 recommend!
We look forward to coming for Sunday brunch soon!

There are moments your brain gets in the way of what your heart wants to say. It’s because I get tongue tied looking at the menu here and can’t decide which items are my top favorites.

So happy they opened up as another great option for the Castle Rock and Castle Pines area. Even more excited they added lunch and brunch to their option. The happy hour is probably my go to if you don’t have the time to sit and dine in for their dinner hour. Though we tend to order pretty much every item. Whether it is half off everything or BOGO (they haven’t nailed down the marketing), it is sti.ll amazing food. Hands down ultimate starlight is the ahi tuna tartare with caviar. I am always a big fan of the oysters rockefellar and crab cakes. The pork belly is a modern twist served with a chicharrone. If you’re going to eat steak, make sure it’s the size of your face. Order the Delmonico with the au poivre sauce and you won’t stop smiling.

Since my body type loves food and never skips dessert, it is hard to pin which one I would choose consistently other than my Veuve champagne. I have had the berries and cream cheesecake, the chocolate torte decadence, and the creme brulee. Definitely ask for the Famous Carajillo. Who refuses coffee tequila?!

Service here is top notch and I adore Kat when she is working the upstairs bar. Everyone is friendly and attentive; their GM knows how to delight customers and excellent in his trade. Famous nestles itself on par with Flemings but not quite STK or Perry’s. The ambiance is still trying to refine itself. Compared to someone, you are successful. Compared to someone, you are unsuccessful. Compared to yourself, you are as you are. Competitive comparing is self defeating. Build yourself up. We either make ourselves miserable or we make ourselves strong. The amount of work is the same. On that note, keep doing you and be Famous!

Definitely not a five star experience but the food was good. Unfortunately the ambience and the service was a little lacking. I found the service to be rather slow and the pacing rather awkward and I had to say that I was ready to order dinner after sitting with a pile of menus on my table forever and once we got dessert he disappeared and I tried to get his attention but he turned the other way and made a loop and I’ve been a server and I know that he intentionally ignored us at that point even though I gave him $155 tip you think you could box up my dessert or at least bring a box but I had to flag down a different server altogether to get a box for the dessert. I just felt like they assumed we weren’t going to spend a lot or we weren’t going to tip a lot meanwhile we spent like $700 for three people so assumptions are rude I guess because we’re young or whatever I don’t know we got the worst table in the restaurant and pretty mediocre service for $700 dinner. But the food was all good I was just hoping I could get a local place that I was really going to enjoy that was a five-star experience but I did not experience that. Oh well I will keep looking for a nicer place for my celebratory dinners. I don’t mind driving. It’s okay but not worth those prices I would expect a little bit more.

Don’t believe the bad reviews, those people are being petty. From the moment we walked in the people were very attentive, the service was great. The manager was even helping the busser bus tables, all while still making time to introduce himself and check in on the meal. The tables were cozy, who cares about the decor? Do people seriously go critique restaurants by the decor and not the most important thing, food and service? The view at sunset is amazing!

The food was great, I had the halibut cheeks, it was ok, not my favorite but that was on me. I probably should have ordered a steak at a steak house. The shrimp cocktail was a bit tough but tasted good. The homemade bread is full of flavor and soft. The steak (buffalo)my boyfriend got melted in your mouth and cooked to perfection. The brussel sprouts were delish and flavorful. We went there for my bday and the dessert they served me was delightful.
Our server was attentive and kind, along with the support staff that delivers the food. We are happy we have a nice steak house near home to come and enjoy a great evening out. I would highly recommend this place!! Thanks for a great evening.

I’ve had French Onion soup in Belgium and France, and no one has mastered the balance of Rosemary and alcohol better. Not sure if I detect bourbon..? But it is wonderful.

Rattlesnake soup is not rattlesnake meat and it’s not overly spicy with mild Habanero crema flavors.

Their chicken and waffles is spiritually good. Best I’ve ever had too.

Will be back. Better then 10/10.

To say this place is amazing is an understatement. The food is off the hook, my taste buds were singing after the appetizers the main course…. The wagyu was the best steak I have had in my life. Perfectly seasoned and topped with an amazing bordelaise sauce. The lamb was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection with a handmade demi balsam reduction. The desserts are simple classics done with love. We left full and wanting more.. 10 out of 10 will be back again.

Friendly and attentive staff who communicated proactively that if anything doesn’t meet our expectations they will immediately make it right. Food and drinks were fantastic and cooked to perfection. Happy hour(HH) 3-6pm everyday: 50% off all apps, signature cocktails and wine. I.e. 12 raw half shell oysters $21 HH vs $42. Only suggestion is the sea scallops aren’t on the menu permanently and should be as they were life changing.

Have you ever had a bite of food and just needed to stare into space for a bit because it was so good? That was my experience having steak at The Famous.

I will dream about this food. I will compare other steaks in the future on whether or not they measure up to The Famous. I went with a group and had the chance to try the filet, the sirloin, and the ribeye. I can’t pick a favorite. Just go and order meat. You won’t be disappointed.

And while I’m obviously a meat lover, I had a spicy margarita that was perfection.

The service was incredible and the staff was extremely attentive. The views (see picture) were a great way to take in the best of Castle Rock.

So when should you go? Date night, family in town, dinner with friends, work meeting – it’s amazing for all occasions. If you’re planning a holiday party, I would suggest the third floor and balcony (the former event planner couldn’t help but notice the open indoor/outdoor space).

It’s pretty new but I plan to be a regular. They also have a Date Night special menu that looked pretty great.

This is an A+++ experience. Highly recommend

Hope our server was so fun and kind. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. The steak was well seasoned and so good. I loved how the chef was able to get the outside of the steak crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
