Absolutely stunning décor and ambiance! The food was fresh, hot, and cooked to perfection. The wait staff was kind, polite, and very helpful. This restaurant is an ideal venue for events. I highly recommend!

It was good but fair warning the corn steak you have to turn over and it like as if you was eating off the cob. The sauce was good but I won’t be getting it again. It wasn’t worth it but everything was delicious. I definitely would return. I love the music selections and we were able to get seated and get waited on very fast of course we came on a Tuesday during lunch time but it was good!

We visited Epicurean on Saturday, February 21st with a party of 12. The restaurant was nearly empty — maybe four other patrons — so we anticipated prompt service. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

With a group our size, we expected at least two servers to be assigned to the table. We only had one waiter. He was pleasant and did his best, but service was noticeably slow.

We ordered three appetizers — the fried broccoli and salmon bites — and they were amazing. In fact, everyone at the table agreed they were the best items we had all night.

The issues began with the entrées. They came out at completely different times, and two guests waited significantly longer for their pasta and shrimp & grits. By the time those dishes arrived, they were only warm, not hot. One entrée was missing asparagus, another guest was missing a side item, and the dishes that came with rice had to be sent back because the rice was hard. Nearly everyone had some sort of complaint — food was either bland, overly spicy, not hot, or incomplete.

Considering how high our tab was, we expected quicker service and hot, well-seasoned food. It’s disappointing when the appetizers outshine every entrée on the table.

Epicurean, from our first visit to now, we haven’t seen improvement in service speed or overall quality. I understand staffing challenges are common right now, but it’s difficult to justify long wait times and subpar food in an almost empty restaurant.

I truly want to support this locally owned business, but improvements need to be made. Fried broccoli and salmon bites cannot be the only standout items on the menu.

Upon entering this place the ambiance is everything……hostess greeted us with a smile. From the floors, the seating, the lighting i was impressed. Our server ,Miss Octavia was AMAZING from beginning to the very end. Our appetizer(fried oysters) came out hot, and very flavorful, the in house Cajun sauce complimented them well. When the main course came out, they were plated well and tasted amazing, the only gripe I had was that the yellow rice was a tad dry, but the fried goods brought it all back together. The shrimp and grits were amazing as well……cant wait to return to see if they can do it again. The music is very nice and fills the room with a calmness that I enjoyed….. I’LL BE BACK

We visited back in November 2025. We had their fried green tomatoes for appetizer. One of the best we have ever tasted. My husband had the shrimp and grits. He really liked it, until he found small marble in the dish. We informed our server and she told the owner. She was very accommodating and apologized. She figured how it got in there, and she comped the dish for us. I had the half roasted chicken and it was very good. Their greens were amazing!. Our server was D and she was very efficient. We will definitely go back when we visit again.

Love this place! Food is really good! I’ve tried many dishes and none have disappointed me thus far! I’ve tried seafood lasagna (which I think is now discontinued but it was really good), beef lasagna, they’re award winning shrimp and grits and it was amazing. They have an amazing Caesar salad as well! I also love their fried broccoli appetizer. Oh and I can’t forget their meatloaf OMG *chefs kiss*. It’s nice ambience and they have a nice bar. I highly recommend trying the Jen’s Bayou it is delicious 100/10.

This was our first visit to the restaurant. We were greeted warmly when we walked in and seated immediately. It was very clean and organized. Our server was kind, gave good suggestions, and also very attentive. The food was great. Everything we tried was tasty and worth every penny. We will definitely return soon.

Placed a call in order to this establishment for the first time. I had the Ribeye Steak with Collards, and Macaroni. I had the steak cooked medium well, and it was delicious. The Macaroni was good also. I also ordered a Beef Lasagna and it tasted incredible! It was hard for me to stop eating it. The service and atmosphere was good.

We decided to try this restaurant for my daughters birthday. The ambiance was nice. They have high-top tables and chairs in the restaurant with beautiful lighting. Our server was great. I ordered the pasta Primavera with steak, and it was plated well. We order fried broccoli and corn for appetizers. The broccoli was delicious and would definitely reorder. Enjoyed the corn it was a little over sauced. Lemonade and the Arnold Palmers were excellent. Pictured is everything that our table ordered. I was not able to taste the scallops due to allergies, but the corn that it was plated with was very tasty. Steak was not cooked to my daughters liking, but she was able to order the flounder, which she really enjoyed. Would definitely return again for the broccoli, flounder, sweet potato fries, and drinks.

My mom and myself decided to give them a try after church March 9th. Very nice decor upon arrival. Now service and food…
1. It’s was very cold
2. Our server was overwhelmed
3. Kitchen staff yelled at her for their mistakes.
4. My mom’s salmon was dry with “NO” honey glazed that she asked for.
5. The fried flounder was NOT good at all. One piece was overcooked, while the other piece was soft. Flavor was non existent on the soft piece.
6. Sweet potatoe fries were cooked with the glaze on them.
8. Fried broccoli was over seasoned.

The wait staff seemed to be slack. But hey that’s just my opinion of what I observed.
Although, I believe they may have been having an off day I may consider going back. But as of right now I doubt it.
Let me not forget how awful the women’s restroom smelt when I walked in. Like death swarmed it over.
If the staff was more pleasant maybe the atmosphere would’ve been better. It may have been cold due to the air being on, but attitudes made it worse .
The chef was accommodating, yet his body language was very displeasing. He was not very friendly at all.
