The Elm Street Eatery
If you’re looking for a true hometown diner that does it right, this is it. Elm Street Eatery serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and every single plate feels like it came straight from a family kitchen.
Breakfast was spot on—crispy bacon, eggs cooked perfectly, hearty hash browns with gravy, and pancakes that were golden, fluffy, and absolutely hit the comfort-food mark. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the food comes out hot and fresh.
The atmosphere is welcoming and no-nonsense in the best way—clean, cozy, and full of regulars (which always tells you something). Staff was friendly, efficient, and genuinely kind, even during a busy rush.
This is the kind of place you bring family, meet friends, or stop in when you just want good food and zero fuss. We’ll definitely be back—probably often.

This was a fantastic experience! My heart beamed with pride when I entered and the American feel at American support for our first responders was spectacular! The three of us that were there – the food was spectacular. And the “older”middle-aged server we had was exceptionally professional and on point. If you would like to go where it looks like our authentic America, and it feels like authentic America, and this represents you – I believe you should support “The Elm Street Eatery”

This is definitely the place to hit if you’re in town for breakfast, though they offer open full day menu. This a locals’ spot; waitresses great regulars by name. I was pleased with everything but didn’t love how oily the potatoes were.

A fantastic place to eat. We came for breakfast and the plates were amazing. Giant pancakes, bacon cooked perfectly. Coffee was great and the ladies working as servers were so kind and nice. I highly recommend Elm Street Eatery and will be back often.

My mom took me here for brunch today and the food, service and atmosphere was great!
Loved the crispy bacon, the yummy chocolatey chip pancake and the raspberry tea was so refreshing! When we come back for a visit this is definitely on our do over list in Lebanon. Thank you for the outstanding service and loved the patriotic atmosphere!

Stopped on the way to St Louis. They were packed but we were lucky to get seated quickly. The server and other staff were extremely efficient and attentive! The eggs, bacon and omelet cooked to perfection. Worth the stop.

They had plenty of waitresses. I didn’t see the same waitress go to any other table during our visit. Their decor is a little bit confused with half Jesus oriented, and the other sarcastic signage about trying not to hurt people. The food was basic diner food. The white gravy was not great, but the hashbrowns were very decent.

Great prices and large portions. 1/2 orders available on several menu items for lighter appetites. Everything is delicious, especially their spaghetti/pasta dishes. Great mom and pop place with a friendly staff.
