Really love the food! The outdoor seating when the weather is nice adds beautiful ambiance. I’m gluten free and they’re able to accommodate me. Would definitely recommend!

My family came here for a friend’s birthday party so we had a private room to ourselves. I ordered the Sam Nod salad with the Tom Kha soup with chicken. Both were fantastic with good flavors! The salad was huge and so a great value. I also ordered a green tea which came in a small tea pot, which was a nice touch. My family enjoyed their food including a chicken Pad See Ew, Shrimp & Scallops, chicken satay and spring rolls too. Very impressed with the food and the menu diversity. Ambiance was nice with Thai decor throughout the restaurant with friendly service to boot. I would recommend visiting this place for a tasty Thai meal!

Came here for lunch on a whim. It was excellent.

The edamame was very good. Salted just right.

I ordered the 2 item lunch special. it came with soup, which I had the Tom Yum, and a Thai basil chicken entree with jasmine rice. I loved every bite. Was exactly what I was looking for!

I also ordered Sake. I forget the name of it, but it was chilled and very bubbly. I really enjoyed that. It was good on the palette.

The setting is very nice, especially if you get a chance to dine outdoors, next to the Farmington River.

The staff were very polite and attentive, and not in your face. I had a water right after I sat down, and everything was prompt.

If you like Thai, make sure this is a stop on your restaurant to do list.

When you look as white as I do it’s hard to get a restaurant to serve you spicy food. I asked our waitress if I could get my meal spicy. She looked a little worried but said I could order it on a scale of 1 to 5. I asked for 5. She was more worried. She suggested 4 with some hot pepper sauce on the side and that’s what I got. She was right and it was perfect. It was hot but still flavorful and not painful. The prices are reasonable especially considering the quality of the food. I will definitely be back.

I’ve been the Elephant Trail for years and I wanted to share about their consistent great service. My husband and I love all dishes, especially soups!
The Bright lights outside of the restaurant brings very welcoming, and some decorations of the restaurant is sharing the culture where it comes.
Wonderful staffs with smile!!

We dined at this restaurant on a Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM and were pleased to find it both cozy and spacious, with plenty of available tables. The service was excellent; our waitress was friendly and provided thoughtful dish recommendations that did not disappoint.

For our meal, we ordered Chicken Satay, Koong Ka Bogs, Yum Larb, and Drunken Noodle. The Chicken Satay was flavorful, enhanced by two accompanying sauces. It would have scored a perfect 10 had the chicken been a bit juicier. The Koong Ka Bogs were delightfully crispy and, as a shrimp enthusiast, this dish was my favorite. The Drunken Noodle was well-executed, featuring well-marinated flat noodles and a pleasing wok aroma. It was slightly salty, but this was easily balanced by adding some salad from another dish. The Yum Larb was also good, according to my wife, who even asked for a takeout box, a sure sign of her approval.

Our total bill, including tax and tip, came to $60.29. Given the restaurant’s convenient location, reasonable pricing, and quality food, we will definitely be returning.

The Elephant Trail is a very nice restaurant to go to if you are in the mood for Thai food. I got the chicken Pham Thai and it was very good. The flavor was nice and there was plenty of food. The prices are fair and the service was good.

We went on a whim, not sure what to expect. Everything was exceptional. From the freshness of the papaya salad, the taste of the Thai Basil, and the yummy pad Thai my son ordered, we have found a new place to put in our rotation of restaurants.

Went here in Avon for the first time. Have been earlier to west Hartford one.
The restaurant is on the opposite side of the petrol pump and it has good number of seating!
Our waitress I think her name was Nancy was really nice and very coordial.

We ordered the Tom yum soup it was great. The vegetable puff was just like indian Samosa. The vegetable tempura was just like indian pakoda. All our appetizers came great!

For entree we had the chicken broccoli stir, papaya Salad and the drunken noodles and they have all came good. The chicken stir was a little salty but went good with the rice.

For dessert we had the mango sticky rice, the rice was great it was like not too sweet. It was just perfect sweet and salty with the mangoes.

A nice thai place in Avon for sure!

Pretty good food. Flavorful. Small portions for price. Large plates used to make it seem like a lot but everything was tasty!
