This GF girlie LOVES the grilled cheese sandwich (there are about 4 or 5 cheeses in there – yes, please!!) & tomato bisque soup – it’s simply amazing!! Hubby & I shared a flight of french fries…w/ the most delicious sauces. Calories?? Cholesterol?? Who cares?! These suckers taste so good, none of that matters.

We had a very good waitress and really appreciated the good job she did. We got right in on Saturday night but most had a short wait. The atmosphere was close seating, fairly noisy environment. The menu is short but very interesting and creative. My wife enjoyed her Buffalo Mac and Cheese, at the start. It became a bit too rich about half way in. She enjoyed the other half later. I was excited about my Reuben Gonzalez because I compare Reuben Sandwiches all around the country. This one was big & filled me up, but the meat was a bit fatty. The slaw or kraut was not bitey, it was very mild. It was not a tasty sandwich. It was not grilled, which I really missed. The prices were high. My root beer was good but not $6 good. Electric Cheetah is unique enough that you should check it out for yourself. It might be your match. It was not what I hoped for.

I wanted to order the yahtzee sammy and see what that was all about but ended up changing my mind and getting the Health Hutt which I did not regret. It was delicious! We also ordered vegan chili Mac, half and half hand cut fries. We loved the fries and the dipping sauce options. The chili Mac came out not as hot as we would have liked but Roni got that issue resolved quickly and it was delicious.
Loved all the fun root beers you can order here. We had my favorite, Northwood Espresso root beer and Wild Bill’s Sasparilla. Yum!

The service was great. Had the autumn sangria and that was really tasty. My hubby had the brown ale special and he really liked that. I got the fried chicken pickle Mac. The fried pickles were ok, had better, but loved the cheese curds and chicken! The Mac and cheese could use a little more flavor but it was still really good. My husband got the Mac burger and he also said it could use some more flavor. We would definitely be back

This place is going to get someone sick and hopefully it isn’t me. Was very excited to try this place before our Griffins game. Ordered the Meatloaf Mac and Cheese. Started eating the Mac and cheese and it was good. Grabbed a big forkful of meatloaf and it was so cold it was congealed. Immediately spit it out back on the plate. The waiter took it away, came back with an apology from the “chef” and brought another for me. Plate was hot. Looked okay. Fresh layer of cheese was melted on the top. Peeled back the cheese and saw the chewed up foot I had spat back on to the plate. Meatloaf was still cold to the touch underneath. Save yourself some time and go someplace that isn’t doing nasty stuff like this. And don’t get me started on the cringe bathroom with a disco light.

Electric cheetah is one of those restaurants in Grand Rapids that you can go to and almost everyone will find something that they really like on the menu. I highly recommend checking them out for lunch and looking at their combination menus. We got the pick four which we were able to pick from various sandwiches, salads, soups, and sides. Great food, great prices, great quality.

What a great place!! It’s a pop back to the good ole days. From scratch cooking, great vibes and the only place you can where using their restroom is super fun. Well done! Wish there was one on the east side of the state. Our server Robin was personable and attentive to make sure we enjoyed our meals and the experience. Thanks so much. We hope to be back soon.

Great eclectic take on classic American foods! I had the leftover meatloaf sandwich. What a surprise to the tastebuds to get the funky lamb in there with the bitter complexity of brussel sprouts, and the smokey heat of the chipotle ketchup. My wife had the classic grilled cheese with added texture and flavor of a tomato and pickled red onion.
Reasonably priced for the area.
Great service. FABULOUS decor. Seriously, they spent some good money well on the design of that place. Will be back for sure.

Great service, amazing mac & cheese. If it’s your first time, you’ve got to try it. The electric cheetah has a very fun atmosphere. The menu is hard for me to read with the fun font and funny names they had, but it matches the aesthetic of the establishment well. They change it up multiple times throughout the year, so you can always expect something special if you haven’t been in a while. I did not get the root beer, but the people with me said it was wonderful, everyone enjoyed their food and the server knew the menu up and down. Quick service too. Go here!
