Breakfast place is a must visit. Stopped by on a busy Friday and was grated by and hosted to a table by the owner. Wait staff friendly and helpful despite a rush. We ordered the waffle combo and the seasonal menu item, the avocado benedict, both were delicious. Well worth a trip, tasty and welcoming place.

Best skillet ever with very friendly service. I had the meat lovers skillet and loved that it came with hollandaise sauce. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the potatoes were definitely not from frozen.
Important, the road in front of the restaurant is under construction and there is no parking there. BUT go down the alley to the north of the restaurant and you can park there and go in the back entrance

Had the huevos rancheros with chorizo. Really tasty. Loved the potatoes as well.
My buddy had meat lovers skillet. Said it was also really good. Loved it.

Always fresh, fast and tasty. Worth the drive and a great halfway spot from home to meet our CSU student. A little pricey – but food costs esp. eggs are currently high. Friendly staff. Loved my pancake tacos!

Small, quaint cafe-like atmosphere that brings a warm and fuzzy ambiance. The food quantity and quality were superb and special requests were handled great…Spot on for what we needed allergy wise. Staff very friendly, just not very attentive (refills, add ons to food, etc) but overall, a great place for the value. All the eggs cooked PERFECTLY! The berry pancake was ginormous and so delicious, I forgot to take its picture! Exactly what downtown Loveland needs. We’ll be back!
11/30/25: returned today and we’re not disappointed! Service has greatly improved and the seasonal specials were awesome! HUGE blueberry cashew pancake and pork belly Benedict were delicious! So many unique flavor combos on the menu, have to keep trying them!

We came here for Easter and the chef surprised our little girl with a beautiful bunny pancake. Everyone was so incredibly nice, the service was fast, and the food was AMAZING. Also loved that they are super affordable! Definitely my new favorite breakfast place!

Divine!!! It doesn’t look like much on the outside but I’m SO GLAD we came in. The menu is so extensive that we said we need to come in every week to try something new. They don’t skimp on ingredients and the prices are great. Service was fabulous and our dishes were absolutely delicious. I wish we could come once (or twice) a week. But we will definitely come in once a month at least. I had the pancake tacos and haven’t ever had anything like them before. My daughter had the crepes and loved them. She’s a picky eater and wants to come back again.

Food was delicious, ordered through doordash. I do however wish they offered an alternative to flour tortillas since traditionally huevos rancheros comes with corn tortillas, not flour. But it was still amazing food. Definitely will be eating here again

Cannot say enough good things about The Egg King. The food is consistently amazing, the service is always on point, and it’s hands-down the best breakfast spot in Loveland. Plus, they’re a locally owned small business—so definitely go show them some love!
