We were to another bar and someone referred us to this bar for good bar food. We wanted good burgers and fries so we stopped in to check them out. We both ordered burgers. I got the fries. She got the okra. The okra was abundant and good. I don’t like shoe string fries. They’re easy to over Fry and become to firm and even though they look abundant, they really aren’t that many. The beef in the burger tasted fresh and hand pattied, which we prefer but the burgers lacked seasoning. The fries had enough seasoning for the burger, I was fine-but technically the burger should be seasoned a bit more. They allow you to add toppings like serano Pepper(which is indeed spicy), grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, and cheese variations. Not a ton of topping change outs, but will do for a traditional burger. I do appreciate the toasted bun. The other plates coming out looked decent too, but for the most part- bread, meat and fries is the deal. Of course they have plenty of alcohol. The prices were fine, the speed was really good and the service was very nice all around. I really liked the overall feel. Good bar vibes. I like that they decorate for the holidays, that’s a sign that the business is trying. Restrooms walls graffiti is cool and on theme with the bar because people like to tag bar restrooms and if it’s already loaded, no one can tell if anyone added anything lol. The mirrors are graffiti also in which I prefer a regular mirror to look at myself, but with only two restrooms and two toilets the fact that we can’t look at ourselves in the mirror should speed us up, which helps everyone else. I’d come back and recommend this place for a drink, quick burger/sandwich and okra.

My wife and I loved it!
The food us DELICIOUS. We had a burger and tots, and a BLT with onion rings.
The servers, bartenders, doorman and staff were ALL EXCEPTIONALLY FRIENDLY.
The atmosphere is eclectic fivr bar, my favorite.. cool decor, old school beers and band stickers everywhere.
We ame to see Lamont Landers and his band is PHENOMENAL. The sound system is great and I highly recommend this venue to see a band.

This has to be one of the best burgers in Atlanta. Perfectly made with a lot of love. Fries are crispy. The whole experience is unbelievable. Servers are very nice.

I had lunch here with my mom and my aunt. I couldn’t decide what I wanted from the menu, so I went with the special of the day: a sloppy joe. Made me happy. My mom got the black bean burger, and my aunt got the shrimp po boy. All of the food was perfect. Service was attentive. I was glad to include this lunch stop in my short visit back home.

The Earl is a classic venue for watching live music. It is small and intimate and has great sound. I have been to several shows there in the past year and the sound has always been amazing. It feels like a club from the 80s but it is not dingy at all.

Vibe is great. Drinks are very reasonablly priced.
However, do NOT go here expecting a good sound mix for a concert. Their sound system or mix tech was unable to get the vocals correctly in the mix. Second worst concert I’ve been to. A shame.

An old bar for people a bit rough around the edges. Burgers and sandwiches are excellent right from the kitchen, and among the best drink prices in town. Not a kid-friendly place, in a good way.

We went here for a late brunch or then would that be lunch? Haha around noon. Surprisingly it wasn’t that busy. Sat at the bar and two seats left!
My bf who swears by their consistency tried the brunch menu for the first time. He ordered the French Toast with coffee and said it was crispy on the outside and fluffy in the inside.
I got the biscuits, eggs and sausage with gravy. Oh the gravy was delicious, the biscuits were soft and perfectly fluffy even with the eggs and gravy over it. Sausage also on point.
The coffee was surprisingly good/ average.
It’s a shame it was a Sunday with no tunes as we’ve heard from the sidewalk great bands.
The bartender was polite and not overly friendly which we appreciated, he was busy but still checked in on us.
I’d highly recommend this place as one of the best dive bars which also do a great brunch menu.

I’ve heard about this place from a close friend of 20 years. The stars aligned, I was in town working, and got to see a band I’ve been lucky enough in the past to see; Dropsonic. Headliner was Shiner. Great space, great bands. People getting the foods, the drinks. Music venue separate. Places of this caliber with such history are rare, but you know real when you find it. It seeps into the rooms. It breathes; its a vibe as the kids would say. It was great to finally see a show here.
