Delicious homecooked meals in a historic setting. 10/10!! The best comfort food around. I highly recommend the Prime Rib and their homemade pies! Everything is cooked perfectly and everyone is super friendly.

The food was excellent and the portions were very generous. We loved the restaurant when it was Sugar and Spice, but we like how refined the Eagle is now. It may be slightly better because it’s less busy with the decor and more focused. The server was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The new owner came and spoke with us. We remember her from the old restaurant and she recognized us. She was very open to sharing her experience bringing the restaurant back to life after the abrupt closing by the previous owner. We had the broasted chicken, stuffed porkchop, and the baked cod. The sides were stuffing with gravy, coleslaw, mashed potatoes with gravy, french fries, onion petals, and macaroni and cheese.

Better than ever. We didn’t it was possible to be better than the Sugar and Spice, we were pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced and the service was equally great.
We will definitely be frequenting the Eagle on a routine basis.

Warmly greeted when we got there. Seated immediately. Waitress came for our drink order within minutes. Waitress brought our drinks and took our order. Wife had stuffed peppers & mashed potatoes & green beans they were very good. (Sauce could have had more Italian seasoning in it.) But all in all very good. I had grilled chicken breasts (very juicy & good flavor) with mashed potatoes & stuffing & a salad. (Stuffing could be improved a little ) Both meals were very delicious. Good portions. For dessert we had coconut cream pie w/gram cracker crust . The pie was ☆☆☆☆☆☆ 6 stars out of 5 !! Complements to the new owner. We will definitely be back.

Know before you go: no alcohol but it is BYOB, and credit cards are charged extra 3.5 percent. Prime rib was good, generous portions, peas and applesauce from canned, good mashed potatoes with gravy and fantastic sweet potato pie. Great friendly efficient service!

Wow! The Eagle of Waterford out did themselves! The food was amazing, the service as great. We had a party of the 11 and the server was so kind, attentive and all around amazing. I love the cozy feel when you walk in and seeing a few local crafters items setup in their waiting area. Thank you for a wonderful family experience.
