After hiking Kaaterskill falls were were very hungry and My daughter said when looking for a restaurant I should google “Gastro pub near me” so we did and The Dutch came up. What a great little hidden gem! The Thyme-keeper Coctail was AMAZING!!!!! (pear vodka, green chartreuse, lime, and thyme floating on top! So good I had 2!) their extensive beer selection made my hubby happy. Their varied menu had either sandwiches or entree choices. My shrimp with grits was good with a nice twist of bacon, tomatoes & cauliflower. My husband had the hot roast beef with a side of purple cabbage. Shout out to our waitress Abbey who was fantastic!

#1 way to end your snowboarding trip with a nice warm meal at the Dutch! Had some of the best food in my life! The House-Smoked Pastrami Reuben is easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had!!!!! We’ve been here twice and it was consistent both times.

Parking within a block can be challenging, but there’s a convenient municipal lot just one block down, behind Ohana Café, which makes it much easier.

Great little bar/restaurant with affordable dinner. The beer flight was great with lots of local beers. The schnitzel was very tasty and highly recommend the Smokey wings as well. Our waitress Abbey was very nice.

This place is cute, there is street parking, but you need coins. We parked a block away on the street in an area that wasn’t metered parking. The drinks were good, the food was good, but what I highly recommend are the wings! Hands down some of the best wings I’ve ever had. Get those. Get them today if you can.

We had such a fantastic experience at this Dutch restaurant in Saugerties, NY. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food absolutely exceeded expectations. Every dish we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care—it’s the kind of place where you can tell pride goes into every plate.
What really made the night unforgettable, though, was the entertainment. Magician Thomas Baker was incredible. He spent time at our table and performed multiple tricks for my 9-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son, and they were completely captivated the entire time. Amanda was great! Excellent service. Home made noodles in Hungarian stew. I believe the pastrami is done in house too. Great old pub feel. Gooey and yummy Dutch onion soup. It was early and a little slow so plenty quiet but I assume louder during busier times.

Drinks were absolutely PERFECT! Beautifully presented and crafted with a perfect balance of flavor, sophistication, and punch. Charm and friendly staff. Amanda was so sweet! The food was quite excellent. Id give it a 4.6 on food only because the The Harvest used smoked turkey, i think, and it was an overwhelming smoke flavor. The other individual elements of the sandwich were very well done But the chicken pot pie was absolutely to DIE for. Perfectly cooked, fresh pastry crust, bright flavor, zero stodginess. There were a million things HIGHLY recommend!!!!!!!!

1- best roast beef au jus sandwich I’ve ever had. My whole family loved everything, especially the fish and chips. My wife loved her grilled fish sandwich. My normally picky children devoured their food.
