Classic local dive with a nice outdoor patio. Good drink selection including micro-brews, attentive and friendly bar staff, and engaged owners. Excellent pricing. Organized bar games/pool tournaments/etc. This is a smoking bar, so be prepared for that. Young crowd that can be a little rough around the edges late in the evening.

Cool little dive bar with an excellent outdoor space for live music. As you can tell by the name, they have this deadhead hippie thing going on. I’ve been in bars with much worse vibes, that’s for sure. Service staff was friendly and attentive.

Popped in on a random Thursday at an off hour. Friendly people, open mic, and a very cool outdoor live music area. If there is something going on, maybe check it out. Don’t tell me your town ain’t got no heart. You just gotta look around.

I enjoyed my time. I was avoiding this place previously. However, this establishment is now called The Drunken Hippie. It is under new management as far as I know. It is focused on music. Miller Lite was $4.00. Captain and coke was $6.00. It is a small place, so it was crowded. Can’t wait to check out the outside area in the spring!

The bartenders & owners are very friendly. But the clientele could be friendlier. Seems very cliquish and being an older man feel very out of place. Their wings are VERY GOOD! Haven’t found one bar in Monongahela I feel comfortable in frequenting.
