Awesome burger!! I didn’t get pics because we devoured them too fast.
When we got there I think the owner had run across the street, but he rushed back to take care of us. I’m glad he left the open sign on or I would have missed out! (Definitely wait a few minutes if it seems like no one is there!! It’ll be worth it) The burgers are fresh, a little greasy/messy but in the best way. I had a cheeseburger, hubs had the New Mexico burger and my crazy picky kid had a plain and dry burger – all of us loved them!
This will be a new must stop anytime my route takes me this way.

Stopped by on a LONG road trip. This will be a regular stop now. Burger was really good, my fish sandwich was above my expectations and the fries are great. We will be back as often as possible!

OMG….I died and went to heaven. Absolutely best burger I’ve ever had.
We only stopped in Childress 1/17/22…because we were driving back to Houston from Breckenridge, Co… after being thrown off a snow ski lift and breaking both legs and ankles. I couldn’t get on a plane… so we drove.
Now, we need to find excuses to come back here!!

12/28/22
Well SW airlines achieved that goal… over the 2022 Christmas holiday. Our return SW flight was canceled and no other flights were going to be available until 2023. So here we are…. driving back to Houston again. LOL
We hope to get to Childress before he closes this wagon for the day!!

Recently fed a family of 6 – no problem. Food was made to order, came out accurately and was delicious. Recommend the chili dog. Tots are great! Burger is very good. No complaints!
