Showed up to a pretty empty restaurant, ton of staff, seemed promising. Waited a good 5 minutes at the bar before any one asked my order, once I did I also ordered a fry. Got my drinks but it took over 30 minutes for the only food I ordered, fries. The group of girls were either gossiping or walking back and forth never asking us if we needed anything or checked on the food/drinks. Once the fries came, it was a bust, they were “warm” and nothing like what recent pictures showed on google.

I hate to leave a bad review but I hope this can be constructive for the staff, definitely won’t make it a priority to come back.

Went 2 hours before a hockey game. Had drinks and ordered food right away, but food never came 90 mins later. Server seemed like this wasn’t a one time mistake as we had to ask to not be charged for the food we ordered since he didn’t even notice it never came. Way better options nearby.

We visited the night of a Sabres/Leaf game and it was packed (even 2 ½ hours before game time). We waited about 30 minutes to be seated. There were 26 beers and ciders on tap and we sampled quite a few while we waited and during our dinner.

We decided on wings and fries to split between the two of us. When the food arrived, it looked pretty impressive, it was not. The wings were small and overcooked, I had trouble distinguishing bone from meat at times, the fries and wings both arrived luke-warm. Service was inconsistent as we waited long periods for our food and then beverage refills.

It’s unfortunate because I thought the atmosphere and beverage selection were awesome. The staff were friendly and apologetic, they were just overwhelmed.

We went last night before the hockey game. Wait was not horrible. The issue was food quality and service. Ordered garlic parm wings. I don’t what that sauce was but it horrible. At 18 bucks for 10 wings.Other items were salads that were mediocre at best. Our waitress never checked on us when food came out. Would not go here to eat again.

We stopped in on Valentine’s Day after the Jeff Dunham show wanted something quick to eat. They sat us right away after 15 minutes no one came to wait on us my husband had to go and find someone. We ordered food came out about 1/2 hour later it was barley warm we ate it just because we were starving and didn’t have time to wait around. Staff was young and had no customer service waitress never asked how the food was or anything. Total waste of our hard earned money and restaurants want to know why they go out of business. This world has gone down hill with uncaring employees and lack of customer service and food quality!

We regrettably went this to this place last Saturday. Only came for a beer before a concert at the arena one time, but decided to dine in this time with my wife. It has a great vibe and atmosphere, but that’s where anything good ends…

1. The lower bar wooden tables that seat four are incredibly wobbly. I can’t imagine why. Kind of hard to watch your beer shake because the table decides to swivel from side to side when you touch it.

2. The young staff (bartenders and runners) behind the bar gossiped, munched on snacks, and played on their phones any chance they could, rather than making eye contact with customers to at least get a sense if anyone needed anything.

3. We had a random bartender (?) come up and ask US what we ordered. Huh? Then, what looked to be a manager (guy in his 40s with a ball cap and beard) walk to our table with a plate of fries and ask if we ordered them before delivering it to another table. Again, huh? You’re running a restaurant and don’t know who ordered what?

4. The food was downright awful. How any restaurant in Buffalo can mess up a Beef on Weck is stunning to me. Rock hard, burnt roll. Processed, lunchmeat-type beef (not shaved like you get anywhere else here) that was brown/black and dry. Fries were the frozen, spiral kind you can get at Tops. The onion rings were decent.

This was at 6pm with only one other table in the lower bar, and two groups of couples dining at the bar, itself. My guess is that the staff was too busy checking their phones and giggling to know that my sandwich was left to die under a kitchen heat lamp for 10 minutes longer than it needed to be. Not to mention the only other table (who came in after us) getting their food first. I had to flag down our server from behind the bar to come with our check, just so I could be done with the disaster known as The Draft Room.

The Draft Room Buffalo is a solid choice if you are exploring downtown, catching an event at Keybank Center or a comedy show at Helium. Upbeat vibe with multiple bars and seating areas. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Roll up doors for when the weather cooperates. Plenty of food and beverage options. There is truly something for everyone here!

UPDATE: I stopped in for lunch on a weekday and there were only a few tables with people at it. Service was fine, nice sitting by the open air doors. Tried the chicken fingers and fries. Not fresh. Cut fingers but were good and the sauce was actually great. Had a big fan of the coated fries.

Went to the draft room before the bandits game on February 7 nobody in the place but yet it was confusion to get a place to sit. I ordered a jalapeño burger. I asked for rare they said no the burger came. It was so cooked. I couldn’t eat it when the person came back. They asked me how my meal was. I told him I was very unhappy with it. They all could do is say oh we’re sorry, very poor service I wouldn’t go back. There’s a place next-door that I’ll go to.

Food was terrible. My wife got a salad and ordered it with chicken, it came without chicken. The onion ring on top of the salad was ice cold. I got a burger and it was over cooked and dry tasted terrible. The fries were undercooked. There was only one set of silverware on the table. The waitress did not ever take a drink order, never asked how the food was, and we asked to not be charged for the chicken we don’t get she acted like we trying to get the salad for free. I wouldn’t go here again.

I thought this place was very cool. Lots of different types of beer to choose from. It had your typical pub food. I tried the hamburger.

The management and staff were very nice to me. The vibe of the place is fun, lots of laughs and enough space to move around and social distance. I also noticed there was an outdoor section as well.
