Went there on a Wednesday night for a date night, it’s a typical Wisconsin pub and grub It is a little loud because it’s a bar. They have seating after bar or tables. It was a Wednesday night so there wasn’t many dinner customers, The Wednesday night special was broasted chicken that came with a salad, a half a chicken and a choice of a side for under $16 and I have to save the chicken. Was amazing. Good broasted chicken is hard to find and this was definitely a diamond in the middle of a corn field so to speak. Cannot speak about the rest of the menu other than ordered breaded mushrooms for an appetizer and the size of the basket that came out was plenty to share between four people and there was only two of us so the portion was quite generous. I’m just sorry I did not take a photo of the plate to share but it was definitely Worth it. Two broasted chicken dinners, breaded mushrooms for an appetizer a cold beer (spotted cow) and a glass of wine. $53.?? And some change before tip. ❤️
The bartender/ waitress was phenomenal. Don’t know if it was the owners or just a employee, but she was extremely friendly and provided excellent service and a warm friendly environment.

Had heard about this place for awhile, finally got the chance to try it! Was definitely NOT disappointed!!! We were sat right away, server was great. Food came out pretty quick. Prices are extremely reasonable and portions were huge!
We started with the eggplant fries…they were the BOMB, we ate them ALL! Then came the soup, it was stuffed pepper. Neither of us cared for it, it was very watery, not much flavor, but could just be preference! I had the broasted chicken & rib combo with the sour cream fries. The chicken was every bit as good as I heard! Runs were good, but a little on the dry side. The sour cream chive fries were AMAZING! Friend had the broasted chicken dinner, again PHENOMENAL! She had the baked potato and it was cooked perfectly!
Our server was great, she was running and still awesome!

Updated 9-14-25. Still great! Hard to beat a king cut of prime rib for about $30. Scallops were good as well. Good selection of sandwiches, pizza, and other options. Wait staff is always friendly, bartenders too. Good tap beer and drink selection.

Love this place. The food is amazing. Service is wonderful. Absolutely my new favorite spot. I had the hand breaded haddock, potato pancakes with applesauce, a generous filet surf and turf with grilled shrimp, cornbread muffins, marble rye bread basket and the mountains are blue on the Coors light. Delicious! Bloody Mary too! I almost don’t want to share this hidden gem but you have to give credit where credit is due. I hope they always have a table for me.

Fantastic fish fry! Made a reservation online and got seated at the exact minute of the reservation, at 6:45 on a Friday night.
