There is a secret phrase to get in – and it was so worth it to try out. It’s a 1920s styled speakeasy. You get in through a secret entrance and then get into a sweet bar area. Loved the vibe and the drinks are all 20s themed. You need to exit out the back – like a historical speakeasy.

Came for dinner at the Roof, but got there early to see a man about a horse! Awesome atmosphere, very knowledgeable service, a great way to pass time and enjoy a refreshing drink!

This was my first speakeasy experience and boy did it not disappoint. I’m obsessed! My bestie and I just happened to be at the right place at the right time when we first learned of this place back in March. The vibe is amazing and drinks are incredible. So excited to get to go back next week!

Such a unique vintage feel! My favorite speakeasy by far and the drinks are unmatched! The owner, Matt, is incredibly welcoming and passionate about what he’s created. Service was top tier — Aspen and Alby are the sweetest, and their attention to detail never lacked! Already planning another evening back!

WOW! Best drinks .. best service! Aspen killed it with her bartending skills from swamp waters to strawberry lemon drop martinis. Monica the manager was super accommodating to our large Bachelorette party and we had a ball! Could not recommend this place more!!

Awesome Speak Easy bar/lounge.
Atmosphere is superbly resembling something from the 20’s.
Drinks and service was excellent
Definitely will be visiting again when in Ellijay.
Great hospitality.

My fave place for delicious cocktails! We typically drink bourbon but we tried a couple of different cocktails and they were amazing! The Bootlegger was both beautiful and tasty and the Bees Knees Margarita was the perfect balance of sweet and heat! Allie made these fab drinks

I hate leaving such a bad review because I’ve been before and have loved this place but the experience I had this evening was horrible. I walked into the store area like always except this time I had my husband and baby with me. I am fully aware not every place is a place for babies and might not have the room for a stroller. So before giving the lady (make up, long black hair) at the front the password, I kindly asked if we were able to go to the back with our baby. Before I could even finish my sentence I was cut off and rudely told no. I thought maybe she was saying no because I was asking to go to the back instead of using the password, but another group came in right after me asking this and just told her “we have 4” and she let them in without asking for the password. I am not upset about not being allowed in with my baby, I fully understand that sometimes places aren’t safe/acceptable for babies. But as a local, it was disappointing to be so excited to bring my husband here who isn’t a local and hasn’t been and was denied service rudely all because of our baby. Again, understand not allowing babies/children in. I’m not asking for an accommodation to be made but I am asking for some hospitality training for these servers and by the looks of some other reviews, it looks like I’m not the only one asking for this. Super disappointed as a local just trying to support the local businesses.

Had a great visit at The Door. It’s the first place we visit when we get to Elijay. Their Dirty Vodka Martini is amazing & my husband loves the Model T.
Faith was our bartender. She was amazing & very knowledgeable on mixology. Also, can’t go wrong with Espresso Martini if you want something a little sweet.
No TV makes it so relaxing with the music in the background.
The Door is the best place to “see a man about a horse!”
