This is quite obviously a family owned and operated local business, and you can tell based on how well it’s kept and conducted. The owner has always been incredibly humble and grateful for any and all business he gets, and they’ve done a phenomenal job preparing and selling delicious and top quality food. Their smothered green chillie breakfast burritos are unbelievably good. Their donuts rhe same. The view of Pikes Peak from the dining room is fantastic. What a cool little restaurant with outstanding food offerings, ambiance, and service. If you’re a local, eat here. If you are just in town visiting, it’s a mandatory that you eat here! I know I’ll certainly be back.

They have the funnest flavors of ice cream and a ton of choices. The donuts are huge and beautiful! I bought a few, but haven’t tried them yet. They had the hugest cinnamon roll I have ever seen in my life. I want to go back and try a kolache too!
Update: the donuts were delicious!! I can’t wait to go back!

This was a nice little stop with our daughter. The shop is cozy with an old-time fill. They have one of the largest Cinnamon roll that weighs between 3 to 5 pounds and is only $14 but boy was it popular. We seen two go out the door before we finished our ice cream. We also ordered donuts and will be taking some home for breakfast tomorrow as well. Highly recommend you at least stop by and check it out. They sell a bluebell, ice cream, cream and fresh coffee dough. if you have a chance, you definitely wanna come and experience this it’s a delightful place.

Stopped by in the evening for ice cream which was great! Then we came back the next morning for biscuits and gravy, apple fritter, and donut holes. The donuts are light and airy…and massive! The apple fritter was crispy on the outside and light&airy on the inside. The B&Gs were fantastic. Made from scratch biscuit with delicious scratch pepper sausage gravy. We got the chance to chat with the owner when we got ice cream and Eric was pleasant to talk to. Family owner business with a truly secret famous gravy.

Donuts were fresh & delicious. They’re also gigantic. Staff was very nice. Great selection of donuts too! Could use some modernization inside but it is quaint & cute!

Monster sized bear claw was fluffy and delicious! Our last stop on the way out while on vacation and The Donut Mill certainly delivered. We also picked up a couple of fritters – highly recommended as well as the glazed donut. The chocolate cake donut wasn’t as good, and a bit dry.

The bear claws were huge and delicious like I remembered from many years ago. Sadly, the biscuits and gravy didn’t quite live up to the memory. My friend got several of the tiny donuts, and one was dry/seemed old while the others were wonderful.
The customer service was really great – the employees were still very nice and friendly but working hard and fast to take care of a very long line.
The place still looks practically the same, with the same old school charm I remembered.
All in all, while not quite perfect, we really loved it and will always come back anytime we’re close.

The donuts are delicious. $2.30 to $6 for large fresh made donuts is a reasonable price. I think we got 4 pastries and it was under $17. The dough is soft and has the feel of melting in mouth. I think one negative review described it as raw but for me that is just the fresh doughiness of the donut and I like that. We tried the chocolate and classic donut and the cinnamon roll and Apple fritter.
