Since moving into jefferson county four years ago, I had pretty much given up finding decent donuts. The places I’ve tried were OK but, the biggest problem is that they acted like they were selling gold. I would go at 9am and they would be “sold out”. This makes no sense. If you are selling donuts on the weekend, make more, sell more.
So, when my granddaughter decided she wanted donuts during a snow storm I went to schnucks; they were sold out.
Sigh….. then, I did a goggle search and came across this place. I called, the woman who answered said they did have donuts and if they didn’t have anymore pink sprinkles ones she would make me some.
Holy crud! What a difference in service between The Donut Hole and my experiences with the other donut soups in town!
When I got there, I was greeted by a lady who actually picked donuts from what was available, instead of just grabbing the first ones. I noticed the lady in the back STILL MAKING DONUTS! Now, this is someone who understands people don’t want to drive all over in hopes of getting done donuts for their family.
On to the actual donuts:
Omg…. these are literally the freshest and best tasting donuts we’ve ever had!
My only problem is the ones I picked for myself got snatched up immediately by my family. Lol
I HIGHLY recommend this place and will, most definitely be back!

Lady behind the counter is so nice. Always a smile when I walk in. She handles the donuts gently and puts them in the box neatly. Great tasting donuts.

Great place; not a chain, so that is a positive right away. Always plan to make a stop on road trips in that direction. Great variety and very fresh. Kids love the ones topped with Fruity Pebbles. Great fruit-filled and others with custard and cream cheese. The man behind the counter always says, “You’re going to have a great day because you have donuts!” If calories are a concern, do not stop. Otherwise…enjoy!

The donuts are amazing however, if you walk in and only the Old man with glasses in the back is working I would recommend going elsewhere. The man has an extremely bad attitude. I have been coming here for over a year and a half almost every Friday every time that I have to deal with him, he gives the worst customer service that I have ever had is always complaining about how the job is because of his poor attitude, I will never be returning again. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt, but this is the very last time. I forgot my card once before and was told for over five minutes about. telling me he will never do that again and that he hates it when he has to put donuts in a box and put them back. This was over six months ago that that happened because of his attitude, I will never be going back again. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I have never had a good experience with him at all. I will be giving all of my future business to Shamrock donuts in Arnold off Richardson Road

Used to live in the neighborhood tucked behind. Used to go in every other month to get donuts for my me and my coworkers. Everyone RAVED about how amazing they were and looked forward to the days i brought them in. That’s a big deal since i work in the city where there’s lots of donut places. My favorites are the apple fritters and old fashioned donuts!!

I don’t typically leave a review however I figured I simply share (maybe save someone else an unnecessary trip)… Went out of my way to go there because of seeing people talk about how amazing their Blueberry Fritters were (sounded delicious anyway) however the lady was Not so pleasant & honestly acted like I was crazy for even mentioning Blueberry Fritters & then proceeded to tell me they only do those once in a while ~ something about a special request.
Probably my 1st & last time going…
