The service was great — very friendly and attentive. The food, however, was just okay. I tried the Nachos Supreme, but in my opinion, there wasn’t much cheese or toppings. The portion size was good, though I wouldn’t order it again. The steak fajitas lacked flavor, and both the rice and refried beans could’ve used more seasoning. The steak itself had no seasoning at all. On a positive note, the drinks were decent — I had two Melt Down Margaritas, which were pretty good.

What a find! We live out of the area and met a family from our hometown ! They’ve been visiting here since 1984 ! So clearly these guys are doing something right! Quality food and reasonable pricing. Family friendly great patio. We will be back!

Love this Mexican restaurant. Food is good and all the times we’ve gone we’ve had good friendly service and because of it tipped well. The restroom is also very clean and doesn’t smell. Over all its a small restaurant but definitely a good one. Will definitely keep returning and would recommend to anyone looking for a good Mexican restaurant.

Very delicious food restaurant that’s been there, i believe, since the 80’s. My family went, and I had never been there before. Well I tell you what I can’t wait to go back!! The staff was friendly. There is plenty of parking, but it’s always busy. The food is that good!!! Come give it a try. Let’s keep this little gem open and running. The restaurant was very clean. Tables seem a little close, but the food is so worth it!!! They have a patio to go sit if you would like. There were 8 of us, and the prices were reasonable. Come support this restaurant and bring family and friends. I will be back.

This evening my family decided to drive 45min to Don’keys, we were not greeted by a hostess for approximately 15min. This is probably the emptiest I’ve seen the restaurant as I’ve visited a handful of times. After a server asked us how many were in our party we were asked if there would be a need for a children’s menu and we informed the lady yes, she responded with an eye roll and a snarky comment of course under her breathe. I responded as an excuse me to assure she was aware I heard her response. Her reply was the previous table she had had a kid that was a handful. I requested to also get a highchair and she seemed to be bothered of the request. As we walked to table I informed her after receiving her bothered attitude I told her I would grab the highchair. Once seated the waiter asked us for our beverage order, I ordered a sweet tea and my husband asked if they topochico, the waiter informed us that they do but they were instructed by management that they do not sell the beverage outside an alcohol order.
The experience was laughable and irritating overall. I have worked in customer service and patient satisfaction over my entire career and it will also take me back when I experience poor customer service.

We came in with a large group and multiple children. Taylor was our waitress and was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and Taylor made sure that we were taken care of the entire evening. We had such a great time and will definitely be back!

The service was great which is probably why I’d attempt to go again. The food was just ok, got some chicken enchiladas that had a sweet sauce, rice lacked some flavor and the street corn soup was a little watery. The drinks were good though, had two margaritas mango and watermelon.

We had a wonderful experience at this Mexican restaurant. Our waitress Taylor was kind, attentive, and provided truly excellent service throughout our visit. She checked in often without being intrusive, made great recommendations, and made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious, and the service made it even better. Highly recommend! ✨
