Authentic Mexican in Pleasantville. Do not miss it. Across from Wood and Fire Pizza. Looks unassuming from front traditional and great Mexican. Stopped in for lunch and great service and good.

We came here to celebrate my mom’s birthday and we had a great time. The service was very good and our waiter was very attentive. The menu has a wide variety of different foods and there is lots to choose from. I asked for a mojito and I was not disappointed. It was very good and not too strong. The desserts were very good and the churros were fresh. The guacamole was freshly made in front of us and was delicious. This restaurant is a little bit on the higher end but you get what you pay for. Parking is difficult, as they don’t have their own lot. But there is street parking further down on the street.

This review started out as a 4.5 stars from walking through the door then as we left went to a 3.4 star rating. For Cinco de Mayo holiday afternoon, seemed at a normal capacity because there was no wait time to be seated which was a total plus for us to get a drink and snacks.
The food was fresh, packed with flavor and a solid portion. We ordered the ceviche and chicken nachos as appetizers, they were a way bit overpriced (I understand it’s NY prices but damn for apps). We also got a margarita and couple of beers but the sad thing is there was supposed to be a second margarita that we never got. It took quite a while to get our servers attention and we understand it’s a holiday with the possibility of shorthanded servers. We had two servers in the back dining area and about 4 runners that could’ve gotten our items while she was busy. That was the main reason for the decrease in rating, LOUD music where I had to scream to talk and charging us for the missing marg.
Overall, we will come back because the food was fantastic and in hopes the service will be better.

I sooooo wish we had this place near our home!!! The food here is OUTTA-THIS-WORLD AMAZING! It literally is like a party in your mouth!! From the colorful chips to the tacos and jumbo margarita…I would seriously make the 5 hr trip just to go here! The staff is so nice and super fun! They have digital menus (never saw that before) and an super colorful atmosphere! Definitely 5 STARS all the way!! Can’t wait to come back!!

Always come to Don Juan’s stunning view of the outside just as inside decorations are captivating. The service is excellent constantly checking on their customers. The Food is delicious. I recommend the Guacamole en un Molcajete I love the presentation The texture is just right. I had a huaraches dish it was delicious I highly recommend it.

Place was nice inside. Ordered at Taco salad and the beef came with a vinager dressing when i didnt ask. When I asked them about it they made it seem like I was lying and didnt know what I was talking about. Then brought another one out that was just lettuce and carrots. Women waitress was rude and didnt even care. Would not go back especially if they try to fight customers

I came here for a dinner and it was a good experience. We ordered tacos and quesadilla and the food came out quickly, the portions were decent and we had left overs. The raspberry margarita was also very delicious! It was my birthday and they made a thing with ice cream and churros which was delicious. The prices are a bit much comparing to other Mexican places but I would probably return. The guacamole was also very yummy!

Great portions, tasty food, and friendly staff(thanks Nancy). What else can you ask for, go there for all your Mexican food cravings the portions are huge and the flavor of the food will make you go there more often than you expected. The drinks like the margaritas with different flavors, great selection of mexican beers and if you like soccer(premier league+la liga española..etc) they open at 10am so you can catch the european games….. The stake fajitas is one of my favorite dishes, but you will like everything here.

Absolutely adored this place!!! The art of the decor, tables and such is beautiful. The staff were so polite and inviting, and attentive. The food was DELICIOUS!!! Definitely a good choice for an easy, fun dinner!
