I would have gave them a better score the first time I came to this place the dogs and french fries were fantastic I come for my second time I’m coming to this place and I got burnt hot dogs very disappointing and I got an order of french fries that were overcooked hopefully they can resolve this issue the third time I come it’s always third time is the charm

This was our first time visit, after seeing the sign on the road many years, we thoroughly enjoyed the skinless dog and the Coney Dog that pops! The large fries was enough for two, very crispy fry done right!

I’ve been going here since I’ve been in High School when it was called Ray’s Dog House. I’m glad to say it’s still one of the best places in Portsmouth to get a good hot dog. The prices are very good and the workers are very friendly, making sure I’m greeted and served as fast as possible

Edit: under new management and seems to be an improvement on an already Good dog place. Chili is not the runny variety so when getting it on the fries it doesn’t do a very good coverage. Tasted okay. Will go again.

The food is amazing !!! This spot is a hidden gem for sure. Very warm welcoming crew that make the experience even better. You feel like you’re over at your favorite aunt & uncles house. Love it and highly recommend it. I got the beef dogs with chili and slaw and they were so good! And the she crab soup is SENSATIONAL ❤️

After being a regular customer for a long time, I was very surprised to be told on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and two hours before closing that my order of 7 coney hotdogs would hurt Friday’s hotdog inventory. The reluctance to serve me was such a rude turnoff, that I’ll never come back.
