Welcome to the Dog House. Our vision began when we (siblings Abi and Bilsana) decided to bring the New York experience to South Jersey. When Maple Shade needed a wiener most, we came running! In October 2025, The Dog House opened its doors ready to serve authentic NY dogs. With quality ingredients, delectable toppings, and speedy convenience, we hope you will enjoy this authentic taste of NY. We proudly serve Snap-O-Razzo and Sabrett products.

It’s easy to miss if your not looking for it since it’s on the side of a building look for the red and yellow balloons and the wooden crates with their hot dog mascot. There’s a decently sized parking lot in the back. I acquired for my old man their Martin’s Kielbasa dog he was so happy he was quite when devouring it. My old man gives the specialty kielbasa dog a solid 9/10 followed by “I would definitely come back”. Personally I’m a sucker for all things chilly. Let me tell you their chilly dog and nachos are killer. It’s a beautiful quality dog smothered in chilly and cheese a solid 9/10 in my personal opinion. The nachos are a perfect ball park nostalgia. The vegan dog was absolutely beautifull with beans and potato sticks. This was not your average soydog it was a superior dog. My mother had this big grin devouring it. When I asked what she would rate it she told me 9/10. Each of these dogs was presented in a large clear container which made it easy to identify which dog was which. In summation this place servers elevated hot dogs, and if you want a quality hot dog this is the place. I roughly spent 47$ before tip for 3 hot dogs and nachos. I highly recommend this place.

5 stars across the board. My son and I went tonight, the options were amazing. I got the big and sexy grilled cheese and build your own whiz and potato stix. My son got 2 Mac and Cheese dogs. They were HUGE, neither of us could finish them. The staff is super friendly. It was 19 degrees outside and they invited us in to the kitchen. When we politely declined they offered to walk our food to my car through the snow and ice. Definitely a hidden gem in Maple Shade!

So much flavor in each bite. The Street Cart dog I added cooper cheese and omg sooo good. But the Kielbasa dog holy cow soooo delicious. Will be visiting soon. Cannot forget to mention the amazing service that they have. Thank you!

Went to this spot yesterday with my boyfriend! We loved every hot dog we tried! Staff were very friendly and helpful!! Our favorite was definitely what staff recommended which was the candied bacon hot dog w/ cooper sharp cheese close to that was the chili cheese dog!!! 10/10 recommend, we will be going back!

I had 3 EXCELLENT dogs. Each dog was so good and with such great ingredients that I have no doubt that every dog on the menu will be great. Ordering 3 dogs I was thinking the prices were a bit steep – but then I saw the dogs! Big ‘N Sexy is an apt name. My eyes were certainly bigger than my stomach. Service was great and friendly. If you like hot dogs, you’ll love The Dog House. If you’re like me and LOVE hot dogs, The Dog House will be a favorite.
1) The Balkan Dog – Roasted Red Pepper Sauce and crumbled feta, I love when something can play with temperature. The warmth of the dog and the coolness of the sauce and cheese are delightful. A spicier would take it to the next level.
2) The Philly Dog – Cheesesteak fatigue is real. I began to avoid cheesesteaks because they don’t offer anything new. The Philly Dog is a simple but great twist on the classic. I can’t remember the last time something cheesy made my eyes roll like that. Everyone knows, sometimes the best cheesesteaks are actually in Jersey.
3) Martin’s Kielbasa Dog – Whenever I see kielbasa on a menu – I have to get it. The spicy kielbasa was delightfully spicy. It’s tired when the only spice is heat. The dog was spicy and sweet and savory and oh so cheesy. Big fan.

Not your typical fast food joint! Such a variety of hot dogs and multitude of toppings! You will never have to have the same dog twice! Then they have nachos and tater tots too. Make it a point to come and you will not disappointed.

Phenomenal selection. Made it a tough decision, but the Chicago Dog did not disappoint and gave me reasons to come back and try some others. Dog was assembled to order, with a good snap and plenty of toppings.

Excited to have a hot dog shop in the area! Big menu. Big hot dogs. Grilled or boiled. I ordered a Chicago dog and it was made authentically (hard to find in South Jersey). Other sausages were also on the menu. Delicious.Take out, no dining room.

The Dog House is the newest addition to Maple Shade food scene. It serves amazing Hot Dogs and the super cool pickle on a stick. They have a great selection of hot dogs and toppings, so something for everyone. I had the Chicago Dog and a New York Dog. South Jersey has been in need of a good hot dog spot and this is it!!! A must try when your in the area!
