The District Kitchen & Saloon in Cripple Creek
For Valentine’s Day we decided to explore Cripple Creek Ice Festival. Enjoyed our Lunch at The District Kitchen & Saloon. Our Server was very friendly. They have an amazing Menu. ️❄️

Enjoyed Spicy Thai Wings as a Starter with a glass of Rosemary Spritzer. Big ‘Ol Brisket Burger and Tater Tots were devoured instantly by my son. Enjoyed my Gaucho Steak Frites with 2 eggs over easy (not pictured). We shared their Pulled Pork Green Chile Mac which was very filling and tasty. Country Fried Chicken, Broccoloni with Garlic Herb & Butter and Loaded Mashed Potatoes were amazing too. Husband approved ‘em. lol! ♥️

And of course, I saw they have Carrot Cake…I needed to try it. Though husband said mine is still better.

We had the best dinner at The District Kitchen! Staff was super helpful, knowledgeable about products & drinks, and also friendly! Iley was our waitress! I had a watermelon cocktail, and my husband had a strawberry margarita. Best margarita we’ve had a while! So good! The chicken fried steak was huge, and delicious! According to a local, “The chicken fried steak here is fresh, never frozen, and batterd on site!” I had a brisket cheeseburger, with their house French fries! It was really good. We also ordered cheese curds with ranch! Delicious This restaurant kept coming up when I asked Google, “what’s the best restaurants in Ctipple Creek?” GOOGLE DID NOT DISAPPOINT US! THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO EAT IN CRIPPLE CREEK!
Thank you The District Kitchen for a wonderful birthday dinner!

Way too loud with waiters shouting across the restaurant at each other and loud music playing. Was very cold in the restaurant. Seating is cramped. Spinach and feta stuffed pretzel was like cardboard. Shrimp po boy was good but had too much spicy mustard. Onion rings were good. Bartender was really friendly but was overworked so we didn’t get to order drinks until 10 minutes after we sat down.

What a great little restaurant in the Bharti of Crupple Creek. It was crazy busy but the staff was still attentive to setting us up for a table of 6 outside. Live music and the food was pretty darn good. It would have been better if the appetizers came out before or food and the brisket was not super tender but it was very flavorful. Yum and Fun!

Best burger I’ve ever had in my life. The “big ole brisket burger” is amazing. If I could, I’d drive up from Denver every month just to eat this thing. Service is very fast and you barely wait any time for your food to come to your table.

We stopped in here for lunch while we were in town. It was very busy at lunchtime and I am pretty sure they were short handed but the staff was handling it as best they could. We sat at the bar and got good service from Brian. We started with the jalapeño pepper jack stuffed pretzel. It was good but I felt the pretzel to cheese ratio was off (could have used more cheese). Hubs ordered wings for his entree and I ordered the shrimp grain bowl. Hubs had his wings and had finished them before my entree ever showed up. Hubs said wings were decent. My grain bowl had a lot going on in the way of competing flavors but it was nice for a change. I ordered a zero proof blackberry mint mule which was perfectly refreshing on a warm summer day. Overall it was a good experience and we would definitely visit again.

One of the better restaurants in Cripple Creek. Good bar too. The chicken fried chicken was really good. Okay green chili. The brisket queso was a lil lacking in flavor as it was like finely diced brisket like bacon bits and the pork “wings” were mostly bone so you’re better off getting chicken wings. But probably one of the better spots youll find in this area

I was visiting near Cripple Creek with friends/family and saw good reviews for District Kitchen & Saloon. We decided to do take out around 9pm Saturday 12/6/25. The phone wasnt working when we tried to order ahead but we were near by so me & the other Dad stopped in to order take out.

We had a great experience!! The Bar tender was personable and on point. -Didn’t catch his name but curly hair black Christmas sweater and whit hat…We tried some kind of peach beer that was solid.

Ordered 2 Chicken Nachos, BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger, and the Steak Fajita Tacos. Everything was cooked perfectly, portions were generous, and the food had excellnt!!! We we’re suprised by flavor across the board.-Coming from a Texas group- You’re guys are doing thing right!!!

Service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and the atmosphere made it an easy, enjoyable stop. Definitely a place we’d return to next time we’re in the area.

Thank you!!

Visiting from Florida and made a trip up from the Springs with my daughter and SIL. Stopped in here after a fun few hours in the casino. It was a great experience and the food was fantastic! Best fried shrooms I’ve ever had. House made batter and fried to order and it showed. Brian took awesome care of us and if I ever make it back to Cripple Creek I’ll def be stopping back in to The District Kitchen and Saloon!
