My Wife and I visited The District for lunch. It has an amazing wine selection we will have to go back to explore better, but we ordered the Mac and Cheese and the at the time special of lettuce wraps. The Mac and Cheese had this pork belly smothered in a tangy BBQ sauce that bought the meal to a whole nother level! My wife had the lettuce wrap and said the ingredients seemed so fresh and crisp! it was a delight to eat! The food did take a little bit of time to get to us but the servers were very friendly and attentive, and told us that all the food is made in house and to order, and after hearing that i was more then happy to wait. JUST LOOK AT THAT MAC AND CHEESE!

Seems like this place has made some big changes recently. Tried it for he first time this season, and was very happy with the changes! The additional outside seating is nice too. They have a great selection of wines, and our server told us cocktails are on the horizon too.

The District has the best food in Sandpoint at the best prices. We’ve had countless meals here and we’ve never been disappointed. The sea bass entree is fantastic and last night we had the ribeye for the first time. The serving was generous, leaving leftovers for the next day. The wine selection is also the best in the area and Beth will help you select the perfect bottle for your meal, mood or gift. The monthly wine dinners are always good but sell out fast.

Wonderful little gem. I am a light weight, though, and the two mimosas did a good job! Wonderful day to sit outside. The olive and artisan bread appetizer and the prosciutto wrapped apples were delectable.

The old adage is quite true here. You come for the food, you come back for the service. The menu is creative, and here in Sandpoint that’s a real standout. I had the mortadella meatballs. Who puts moreadella in meatballs? The District does. And they do it quite well. The entire menu looks fabulous and I cannot wait to come back and try the other things.

We arrived to eat on the patio tonight after a long moto ride. God forbid we didn’t see the the sign at the door to wait to be seated. The waitress never came to see us (I guess we got punished for seating ourselves). After I asked her for a menu she gave me the worst attitude I’ve ever seen. Shameful shameful service. I guess labor is hard to come by in Sandpoint. This was Sunday August 6, 2023 at 5:30pm.

I went in with my family and we were seated outside. The service was mediocre, we ordered three medium well done burgers, we got one medium well, one medium rare and the last one was partially raw, which was not eaten. And we were still charged for it. I would not recommend this place at all.
