This is a pretty cool spot to come and enjoy a relaxed evening. Pretty upscale and well thought out decor. Full bar and quite a good selection of wine options. The staff were helpful and professional. Relax, unwind, and enjoy yourself here. The menu selections are quite high end and sounded tasty. My food scene is a bit different than those selections so I asked if it was possible to try one of their smash burgers. A smash burger showed up and it did not disappoint. I can safely say one of the top 5 burgers I have enjoyed in the northwest. My wife was thrilled with her fish dinner and she even ordered something else and then asked if she could change her order. They absolutely had no problem with that and delivered. Next time I was to try their appetizers. One of the better spots in Sandpoint for sure.

My Wife and I visited The District for lunch. It has an amazing wine selection we will have to go back to explore better, but we ordered the Mac and Cheese and the at the time special of lettuce wraps. The Mac and Cheese had this pork belly smothered in a tangy BBQ sauce that bought the meal to a whole nother level! My wife had the lettuce wrap and said the ingredients seemed so fresh and crisp! it was a delight to eat! The food did take a little bit of time to get to us but the servers were very friendly and attentive, and told us that all the food is made in house and to order, and after hearing that i was more then happy to wait. JUST LOOK AT THAT MAC AND CHEESE!

Sadly we experienced marginal knowledgeable service and overly salted dinners of steak frites.
We told our waitperson as much as we tried,we could not eat it because of the excess salt. All three who ordered this dish said the same thing. . .way too much salt. Although we received a discount we were very unhappy with the meal.

Every single time I go here I wish I could eat there every meal. From the moment you walk in to the time you leave you are treated like family which I love. The food is so delicious and a very reasonable price. My new go to is the Shortrib Mac and cheese and every Tuesday we go for ramen. 10/10 recommend this place for any occasion.

We did a four course dinner event on New Years Eve and the food took almost three hours. We never recieved the drinks that we ordered and our food order was forgotten. We watched several parties leave mid-service. We had to order drinks directly from the bar and when our watress finally brought us food, it was the wrong order. For two people, we paid $270 and it was a waste.

The District has the best food in Sandpoint at the best prices. We’ve had countless meals here and we’ve never been disappointed. The sea bass entree is fantastic and last night we had the ribeye for the first time. The serving was generous, leaving leftovers for the next day. The wine selection is also the best in the area and Beth will help you select the perfect bottle for your meal, mood or gift. The monthly wine dinners are always good but sell out fast.

Take this for what its worth. I am easy going but hard to actually impress. Matthew was our server and helped with recommendations. This was the best food and drinks i have personally ever had. Spicy bloody mary was unmatched. I had the meatball on flat bread and even tried my wifes smash burger. I couldnt believe the quality all around. Some places have great pieces and average on others. Everything about this place impressed me. I will be back. I suggest you try aswell
