Such a fun new spot!
We stumbled upon it after dinner and decided to check it out — so glad we did! Our group tried several drinks and did a tasting because everything sounded amazing. We had the White Cosmo, Lemon Basil Cocktail, Dragonfly, and the Espresso Sundae Martini (yes, there’s ice cream in it!).
Even after trying them all, we still couldn’t pick a clear favorite. That said, the Espresso Sundae Martini may have had a slight edge thanks to its unique presentation — it even comes with a spoon!
We also shared a slice of the lemon lavender cake, and it did not disappoint. The texture was light, and the icing was just right — not too much, not too little.
The staff was friendly and quick to check on us, and our order came out promptly. There was music playing, but it wasn’t so loud that we had to shout to talk — a perfect balance.
Excited to have a new place for drinks and desserts. Can’t wait to go back again and try something new.

We went here with a group on a Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We even had a little one with us who the staff attended to with her little fish bowl. We had a cake flight and several drinks off their menu – all were delicious. We will definitely be returning. The staff was kind and helpful. They also took in our suggestions and enjoyed making new things for potential new menu items.

We had such a fun night at The Dessert Bar! I had the chocolate chip strawberry martini — SO good and perfectly sweet. My husband tried the Mexican Jack & Coke and loved the bold flavor. We shared the charcuterie board (beautifully done and delicious), and ended the night with the lemon lavender cake… absolutely amazing!
The atmosphere is cozy and fun, and it’s such a great addition to our Midlothian community. Can’t wait to go back — definitely a must-visit spot!

We’ve been several times now, and every time it’s been fantastic. The staff are so friendly and you can tell they love what they do. You have to try the crème brûlée martini. It’s delicious. And the different takes on an old fashioned have all been tasty as well. Plus even the mocktails are really good. Finally, that cheesecake … it’s definitely one of the best we’ve had. We find ourselves skipping dessert at the date night restaurant so we can save room for Dessert Bar.

We stopped by after dinner on a Friday evening and it was actually really nice! We had the vegan chocolate cake slice and it was such a delicious slice, moist and not overly sweet at all! My husband had a drink there and I loved the atmosphere actually it was cozy and very chill. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly. I did see the reviews but I always think we can give it a chance and get our own experience. So we definitely will be back!

Amazing customer service. I Took my wife to a Pop up event to get a bracelet. They were packed and we had our child with us so I sat at the bar to be out of the way. Even though I wasn’t ordering anything I was checked up on multiple times and offered free water. Even though they were clearly busy they did not seem stressed and worked really well together. I was really impressed by the positive energy and quality customer service. It was hard to tell who was in charge because everyone on the team was working so hard.

Cute! Cute! Cute! Espresso Martini & Strawberry Shortcake shot…on point! Customer service is great & Jaylen was so nice and professional! I was there in the evening. Lights were dim & the ambience was perfect! Make sure you get in for a slice of delicious cake and amazing drinks! I will be back!! Soon!

We were excited to come here but the owner was extremely rude and unwelcoming, this place is the rudest we’ve ever been treated while dining at small businesses in Midlothian. We were treated like an inconvenience from the minute we stepped in here. The girl behind the bar was sweet, but the owner has a terrible attitude.
I’m editing my review, my daughter went in again tonight for a Birthday drink, the owner was very sweet and explained about how all the syrups are homemade. They even brought her a Birthday shot with a candle! I think they were just having an off night the first night we tried it out.
