A great local spot with a lot of flavor and history! The menu is super varied but it has enough staples that the casual breakfast fan will find something they like. There really aren’t any complaints besides how busy it was—but that’s a testament to how delicious it is. To the staff’s credit, they were working fast to turn tables so a long list of names isn’t a big deal. It’s worth the wait if you’re in the area and want a good breakfast.

Cool breakfast/lunch spot with lots of local history. Super friendly staff and good service. They can make almost everything on the menu (aside from biscuits and gravy) gluten free. I had the GF chicken and waffles for the second time, and it did not disappoint. Their corned beef hash is made with tender, juicy, REAL corned beef.

We took a spur-of-the-moment road trip to Leavenworth. The depot is truly an authentic depot with many of the original benches, etc. The Reubano with homemade chips was amazing. Chicken Caesar Salad was the perfect size. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

was told to make sure I checked out this place when I got to Kansas! It definitely lived up to all the hype. It was an old train depot back in the 1800s. The food is delicious, the service was great, and the environment was inviting. They serve brunch on the weekends and it is ALWAYS crowded. You might want to get in early, but if you don’t care to rush be prepared to wait awhile. I do recommend this place to everyone!

I loved the atmosphere, you’re surrounded by so much history. Looking around will keep you busy until your food arrives and that doesn’t take very long. The chicken and waffles were fantastic, the chicken was well seasoned and not overly breaded, piping hot too. Great service from the door to the table. The other patrons were pleasantly welcoming and delightful. We will definitely try visiting here again.

This is one of my favorite places for breakfast in town. The food is great with generous portions and little cinnamon bites offered each time and I really like the biscuits and gravy and the bacon is delicious. The staff has always been friendly and attentive regardless who we’ve been served by. I also really like the atmosphere looking at some of the old stuff and it is just a very comfortable and homey place to eat at!

Had the pleasure of eating here twice recently while in town with family. Excellent service and food surrounded by a bit of cool history. It can get a little loud but it wasn’t at all unreasonable and you should expect that anyplace that is popular and busy. And given how delicious the food is they could have blown an air horn in my ear and I wouldn’t have skipped a beat. Hardest working employees I’ve seen anywhere recently, too. I’d give them six stars if I could!
