When my party of four walked into Delta Bean at 651 West Monroe St. Grenada, Mississippi for breakfast or lunch, we were the only ones there for service. While we were alone as customers, the restaurant did not have some food on the menu. One member of our party asked for pancakes. The server took down pancakes and went back to the kitchen, only to be told “no pancakes.” I understand restaurants do sometimes run out of food so I’m not at all disappointed. Just a few minutes earlier someone from the kitchen was standing near our party. We were told some of the items they didn’t have that morning. This becomes the type of thing where you start guessing what they might have. They didn’t have pancakes and certain fruits, disappointing a couple of my guests. The waffles were good and the fruit they did have was tasty. I read the blog comments and customers have generally enjoyed the food. My chicken salad sandwich was excellent. They didn’t have a croissant for the chicken salad as the menu indicated so I asked for sandwich bread. All in all, good food but they need to shore up food supplies.

Ms. Cynthia what’s not on your menu is customer service.. a smile.. a “thank you”.. I love supporting small coffee shops but this one needs more work. There was no willingness to help us gage what to get even when we asked. No suggested drink..nothing.. i was served attitude and a crappy experience. The coffee was just like the customer service.

Returned to order a To Go breakfast sandwich. Almost 45 minutes for a Bacon, egg, lettuce and tomato sandwich. The sandwich, was excellent. The coffee is really good and the help was quick to take my order and the staff is friendly, but it would be nice if something that simple didn’t take almost 45 minutes to get. Great breakfast. Really nice Staff here. The Peppermint Mocha was really good! Nice way to start the day.

This is cozy coffee shop with some meal selections for breakfast as well as lunch. I got my latte on a mug☕️. Many of the pastry selections are sweeter end. This coffee shop offers more than just coffee. Gorgeous cafe with a full menu and please get a cupcake sampler. We tried the Key Lime, Strawberry, and Oreo cupcakes to go with our lattes. We look forward to stopping here again when we come through town.

I’m from WI and really wanted a latte and a simple yet good breakfast. I got the caramel latte and it was satisfying. However, my daughter’s apple pie latte was amazing! The veggies in the western omelet could’ve used a little more sauteing, but the grits were hands-down delicious. I mean smooth, creamy, buttery, and full of flavor just as I like ’em. The place was clean and the staff was quite welcoming! Overall, we completely enjoyed our food. My family and I got more than we expected!

This was my first time here and it did not disappoint. The parking was easy and the menu options were plentiful. I got a breakfast burrito, seasonal coffee drink and a pastry. I left perfectly full. The burrito wasn’t overly big or stuffed and messy. The coffee was unique and delicious. Finally the pastry…. OMG it was to die for.

I am very disappointed. Waited over 30 minutes for my meal that was $40 and restaurant was empty. The catfish filet was supposed to be 2 pieces and looked like only 1 piece cut in half. I am unsure what the meat was in the turkey croissant. It was barely a half serving of grits.
