The Dancing Jalapeño has friendly service and great food! We had the Taco Burgers, green chili fries, a few drinks and a cotton candy burrito. They were all delicious!
Claudio talked with us about all the different food and desert options they had, and helped us make a great decision. His customer service is great! I’d gladly recommend this place to anyone traveling through Grant, NM on Route 66 or I-40. It’s worth the stop!

The owners are great people, so patient with my four children and asked what they liked about ice cream and made suggestions. The food was AMAZING, taco burger and tortilla burger had great flavors and hand fried corn tortillas. The fries, again awesome, not from the freezer. The ice cream was exactly what we had been looking for! Unique and great blend of flavors! Cotton candy burritos are a must when you go. We tried the sour apple cotton candy burrito and words cannot describe how delicious it is. I live an hour away and would drive back just to eat here again.

Fantastic food and service. By far one of the best experiences in small town Grants NM. Brings life back to Route 66. Awesome prices and freshness that can’t be beat. I’ll be stopping in here every time I’m in the area. Shout out to the owner Claudio for bringing new life to this beautiful area. Piccadilly was A+ some people just don’t know a good thing!

Love the shop it’s so nice they have such good food and the ice cream is so delicious the superhero ice cream is definitely my familys favorite. They are really friendly and nice and they have so many options in there on the menu. We will definitely be regular customers of the dancing jalapeno on Route 66!!!

First time at the Dancing Jalapeño today was awesome! Owner greated us without hesitation! Very friendly and to top it off food was good! Even got to end our meal with some good dessert! Highly recommend!

Horribly expensive for one ice cream cone and piccadilly. Prices didn’t match the ones on the menu, as if the guy just randomly picked a number. Worst piccadilly I’ve ever had, far too sour and not refreshing at all. When I reluctantly mentioned it to (owner?) He said I’ve never had a real piccadilly, argued that it was not made wrong and gave me a fruity water to wash it down with. Which was kind but wish he would’ve listened more, seeing as I try my best to support small and local businesses. Doubt highly we will ever try again.. hate giving bad reviews but hope this helps! ❤
