We happened to come across this place on our road trip and were happy we did. The service was amazing, friendly staff, a beautiful store with amazing products and delicious ice cream and shakes.

Stopped here for a quick sandwich and fuel, and I probably got one of the worst sandwiches I’ve ever had and I paid 8 dollars for it. I’ve had better sandwiches at a hospital cafeteria. Fair Oaks needs to offer a better quality food if you’re gonna be charging these prices. I don’t mind paying for something that taste good. The taste is off. The sandwich is dry and the bread is hard.

You’re going to love this stop! They have a beautiful dog park where your pups can play and stretch their legs. The bakery items are delicious—especially the cream cheese danish. You can fuel up on gas, grab some coffee and sweets, use the clean restrooms, and pick up treats for your furry friends (mine love the peanut butter bones!). There’s also a great selection of souvenirs—perfect for that friend or family member who skipped the road trip. A must-stop spot for both people and pets!

I love the concept of this place, like a fun family stop with chocolate, cheese, and ice cream on the premise of a farm that has tours to welcome families. There’s even a dog park to let your little critters run! Fun side detour!

This will be a go-to stop for us when traveling through Indiana from now on. Pick yourself up some cheese, sausage sticks and a sandwich if you’re road trippin’ because past this will only be fast food for quite a while. All their deli sandwiches are made daily and they have loads of treats made at their farm next door. Their restrooms are always clean and pleasant. Make sure to stop if you’re passing by!

It’s nothing we really go out of our way for, but we do drive between Indy and the Chicagoland area pretty frequently. During busy weekend hours the line can be a bit long. So try to check the Google listing in advance to see how busy it is. I’ve accidentally made the mistake of not looking, and caught myself waiting in line for 10-15 minutes before. Nothing crazy but for road/time-driven individuals that could cause a bit of stress. My go to is a chocolate malt.

Today my girlfriend and I attended the gas station to get milkshakes as we have done many times before. We walked in and ordered 3 milkshakes. The girl that made our shakes was very rude to us, we got handed two shakes and went to the register to check out assuming our third was in process. The cashier asked the shake maker if she was making our other shake. Very rudely she answered “i didn’t know they wanted another one” she made our shake and put it over the counter saying “here you go” i responded with “thank you.” I got no response, we also got charged $43 for 3 shakes and a snack. The total should’ve been around $30 because $8 a shake and $3 for the snack. Our experience here has been ruined.

Stopped here to get gas and also sandwiches for lunch since I forgot to pack the ones I made at home. This was a very clean facility, a one-stop shop. Staff is friendly. We bought a cherry pastry and two breakfast sandwiches- very good. We also got deli sandwiches for the road. The restroom was very clean. We filled up with BP gas before getting back on the road. Great find on the road heading to Nashville.
