2024 UPDATE! This place is still awesome! We will continue to stop here when we go to the lake. Also, we learned they have a dedicated gluten-free fryer for their fries and tots. Top-notch place!
The BEST place to stop after a day at the lake. There’s plenty of room for trucks with boats and trailers to park, they have beautiful landscaping and decor, multiple picnic areas, and even a small playground for the kids! And the food….oh my! I follow a special diet, so I was thrilled to see they offered lettuce wraps on the menu. The burger meat was excellent, and all the toppings were fresh and delicious. I’m super picky about my burgers, and these far surpassed my expectations. My grandson got fries, and they were from fresh-cut potatoes, not frozen pressed junk. I was also impressed by the menu choices. Where do you find a burger stand that offers couscous salad and Greek salad? We spent an hour and a half relaxing and eating after our day on the boat. I plan to stop again and try something new next time! I also own a business in the food service industry, and I appreciate how hard the team at this restaurant works to treat their customers well. Job well done!

Afternoon enjoying a local festival we stopped in and got treated to some great comfort food. Burgers were good with soft buns that had been griddle toasted. Chocolate shake took the days heat right away. Just completely hit the spot.

Nothing like stopping at a place for a cold treat and be told u can’t park somewhere close !!! Days after back surgery and I could bearly stand ( in lots of pain ) then hear the ouner tell a guy not much older than me showing no signs of pain or trouble walking that he can park right next to the order window !!!!!! New ouner sucks !!! Won’t ever go back !!!! Spred the news to all disabled people!!! I will be !!! Picture of melted shake = clear in bottom half ?????

Burger was delicious along with the cheese curds. The ice cream was smooth and satisfying. The owner was fantastic! I parked bobtail in the lot, but you could easily get in and out with a 53-foot trailer! Thank you for the amazing visit!

We’re from Springfield and we just don’t have these cute burgers joints anymore. The staff were real friendly, the food was AMAZING, and the atmosphere was just cozy. We’re definitely coming back.
The Gobbler was absolutely out of the park.
I was told by the woman taking orders that they make their turkey in-house so it isn’t any of that stale, gummy stuff from the store. It practically melted in my mouth.

Wow! Food and treats here are awesome. We came through a few years ago and really enjoyed it, but now they are off the charts! Got all the kids ice cream treats, tater tots, and my wife got the tastiest salad ever. If you’re in the neighborhood, just do it.

Stopped here on a long road trip to stretch my legs and get a bite. Was overly impressed by the friendly staff and good food. Way better than you’d find at a chain restaurant. Definitely gonna make it a point to come back here sometime! Do your self a favor and order a burger, and get a side of onion petals.

I had the cheeseburger, french fries and a banana shake. The food was fresh, delicious, and filling. The lady who helped me was friendly, courteous, and hilarious. There is a little bit of a wait because they prepare everything fresh, but it is totally worth it. Good food, good staff, good prices.
