Had a wonderful brunch date with my wife at The Daily Grind today! The cafe has such a warm and inviting atmosphere, just as described. My wife loved her pumpkin pie cold brew – it was the perfect fall treat! went with a classic grilled cheese and cup of chicken soup, and it really hit the spot. Service was friendly and the food came out quickly. We’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu. If you’re looking for a relaxed spot with great coffee and delicious food, give it a try!

Cute little spot in Chapin for breakfast or lunch. The food was so good! Stay a little while and enjoy—this is not fast food. Everything is handmade and made to order, so I hope people learn a little patience.
There was a very impatient patron behind us rushing the poor staff, which was unnecessary. It is a great spot to hang out and relax. The hibachi chicken portion is enough for two and tastes way better than any takeout place around. Absolutely delicious!

We are so excited The Daily Grind is open on Sundays for brunch. Today, we had an incredible quiche that is always gluten free at The Daily Grind. They make the crust from thinly cut potatoes. I’ve also purchased whole quiches from them in the past and served as a breakfast casserole.
The owners made my husband a delicious egg bagel and it was also over the top good.

I absolutely LOVED my time here. Not only was the food/coffee great but the staff is so so nice & very accommodating. The owner is an absolute gem & so friendly! She made us feel so welcome & made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely come back again! The scones were AMAZING!

I recently visited The Daily Grind Cafe in Chapin, SC, hoping to find a new regular spot as our previous coffee shop moved. Unfortunately, my experience left me wanting more.
The staff was friendly, which was a nice first impression. However, there were a few things that didn’t quite meet expectations. When I ordered a latte, I was informed they were out of almond milk. I was also left to find the menu on my own, as I wasn’t offered one, and assumed the only food options were the muffins and scones in the display case. After learning they were out of pourable eggs, I opted for a breakfast sandwich, which was decent but nothing to rave about. The latte itself was underwhelming, with very little flavor.
The biggest disappointment, though, was the temperature inside. With the cold weather we’re having, I was hoping for a cozy environment to work in while sipping my latte, but the inside temperature was consistently around 65°F. The concrete floor made it uncomfortable to sit for long periods of time, as my feet started aching, tingling, and burning. I ended up having to layer up and even went to my car to grab another jacket to keep warm.
I was really hoping to make this place a new favorite, but sadly, it didn’t meet the mark. I’ll have to keep looking for a more comfortable spot that offers a better overall experience.

I’m relatively new to the area, and had passed by this cafe several times. I’m glad that I finally stopped in!
The atmosphere is super cozy and friendly – one of the owners was making easy conversation with everyone who came in while making some great coffee.
I ordered a large latte and a slice of peach pound cake – both were perfection. I’m a bit of a coffee addict, and I’d comfortably say that they have some great beans. 😀

I’ve always loved Daily Grind and it used to be one of my favorite little coffee spots. Lately though, I’ve noticed the quality and selection aren’t quite what they used to be, and drinks and pastries can be inconsistent. We also miss the staff who used to work here — the personality and warmth they brought really made this place special. I hope Daily Grind can get back to the consistency and charm that made it such a great spot.

Great coffee shop/cafe. There is limited indoor seating, but also a handful of tables outside. Unlike most coffee shops, this place has a full kitchen, and the food is surprisingly good. They have an assortment of baked goods, salads, sandwiches, breakfast items, and plates available.
The coffee is consistently good. I tried the quesadilla, the chicken was perfectly seasoned and moist. The quesadilla was expensive but felt worth it due to the high quality and copious amounts of chicken.
Definitely a great option if you’re looking for coffee and a meal.

The outdoor seating is great. Second time I have been here and coffee is ok. Got a blueberry Crumble latte and it was hardly flavored. Disappointed in the bagel egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Was more soggy/steamed than toasted and seemed a bit squished. It was decent for what it was but the price for that was probably more than it needed to be. The staff was nice that initially served me. The second one I needed to ask a question for seemed like I interrupted him and talked down at me on my change correction I needed. I am also hard of hearing and all staff were quite quiet, making it a little frustrating to understand options that weren’t on the menu/recommendations. The seating is nice, small parking lot though. Lots of food options for the size of cafe.
