Came in with my husband for our 30th wedding anniversary. This was our first time visiting, so we had to try several items on the menu. The food was fresh and most everything is from scratch. My husband’s family is from Italy and they owed an Italian restaurant for over 20 years, So we can be kind of picky. Thankfully, we were not disappointed! The food tastes like his uncle from Italy makes it, everything was so delicious & the cheesecake was Amazing!! The server was very nice and she gave us all the history on the building. It was a very lovely dinner and we are so happy we chose to go here. We are definitely Looking forward to going back.

I always love going in here! It’s an old building that used to be an auto parts store and dealership back in the day. Walking in just gives me those nostalgic feelings of walking into history. The service is always amazing, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is fun and uplifting.

My wife and I both had a calzone that was out of this world!! The waitress was very attentive and we had our drinks refilled frequently. We also had the coconut cheesecake for dessert. I recommend this eatery to anyone that lives Italian cuisine.

We are new to the area. Trying new eateries. Definitely will be returning to this place. We ordered the gluten free cauliflower crust deluxe pizza. It was served quickly and was very hot right out the oven. Server was pleasant and helpful. Next visit we will probably try the calzone.

Crushed Tomato is a gorgeous location in a well preserved, historic building. They know, tell and honor the history.

The atmosphere and service are excellent.

And for “sit down” pizza not from a franchise recipe, prices are fair and staff is terrific.

Issue today was ordering a four topping pizza with almost nothing on it. This is not cheap pizza, nor is it terribly expensive. As example, mine had pepperoni, mushroom, green pepper and bacon. Or ideally it would have.

I was really surprised at this sparse, large pizza so I counted a slice purely out of curiosity. One piece of green pepper, one mushroom, two pepperoni and a dusting of bacon which was imperceptible.

I get it, groceries are expensive. This is not how to economize on a $25.00 pizza.

Would I return? Absolutely.

This was noticeable, and borderline rude.

I hope this was an anomaly. Raise the price a dollar or two, but do put toppings on pizza.

Got the small portion of chicken Alfredo and my husband got the rattlesnake calzone. I’m curious how big the large portion of Alfredo is because I couldn’t eat all the small. Food was really good. My husband said that was one of the best calzones he’s ever had. They were very busy the day we went and it didn’t take too long to get our food. I THINK our servers name was Jennifer, and to be as busy as they were, she was on top of things. They all seemed to be. Great place.

We walk in and it’s so comforting! The smell was so drawing to their food. The waitress (I feel very bad for not remembering) she was very helpful as first timers and informed us of all their deals they had! So great customer service! The salad was great as well! The pizza?? Omg! Not to be exaggerating but it’s the first time we ate the whole pizza while eating out. We usually take what’s left but we sure did eat it all. It’s was so delicious. We had the Margarita Pizza with Pepperoni added to it. Very much recommend to come and eat here and very much likely that we will come back!

OMG! For my first time eating at The Crushed Tomato in LaFayette, GA it was an awesome experience!! Our server, Gracie was wonderful! Top notch food and service. The restaurant was very clean and the style was just down right cool! I love giving reviews on excellent local restaurants and I’ll have to say, without reservation…The Crushed Tomato is excellent. When a place can check ALL the boxes…woo hoo! This location definitely does just that! I highly recommend giving them a try. For desert there’s some of the BEST cheesecake you can find and an assortment of ice cream. Yummy! I’ve included photos of the menu so you can see what they offer.

It was decent. Took like 30-45 minutes to get our food. Food tasted really well just wish service time was a little faster. I wish i could say it was because they were busy but there wasn’t that many people in the restaurant so i don’t know what the issues was. I would definitely go back i just hope next time Food comes a bit faster
