We came from out of town. No beer on tap, but good variety of liquor. Proprietor was so kind. Good atmosphere, feels like a low-key small town bar. Pool and darts available. Went with a small group, we played cards and had a few rounds. Mostly regulars go there, but everyone chatted with us and was welcoming. Also, bathroom was SO clean. Really, the whole place was.

Nice clean bar, outside smoking on the patio. Enclosed smoking area with a heater during the winter. Nice pool tables and darts. Reasonable prices on drinks, no real food, they do sell frozen pizzas. Nice people, nice quiet bar. Good sound system.

My husband plays washers here in a league, I never miss a Thursday. Crowbar is always a great time! The owners are very nice. There is plenty of space inside the bar, along with a lot of pool tables!! They do not serve food, but they allow outside food in, with plenty of tables to eat at.

Doors are always locked during business hours. Employees looked at me like I had horns growing from my head. Tried to fill out an APA league card, but owner told me I could ONLY do that on Wednesday nights. Kind of seems like a “good ol boys” hangout and outsiders are not welcome.

I have always recommended the Crow Bar because they are one of very few with no smoking. We were there and the place smelled of cigarette smoke. Asked the bartender, she said no, tell me if someone is. So later I tell her I don’t know who is but it reeks. She says oh well that’s the back door and the owner you’ll have to talk to him. I did but still kept smelling like cigarette smoke. Obviously not no smoking anymore!

I previously had good experiences with the bar, and was overjoyed to find a bar that was a few blocks from my house, but my last visit, my husband and I took a good friend on her birthday to get some drinks and a few games of pool and darts. Upon arriving, my friend had to use the restroom, and wanted me to accompany her, and the bartender, an older woman, came around the bar and asked if she could help us in an unfriendly way.
We stopped, and she told her that it was her birthday, and asked if they had any birthday drink specials. She went back to the bar and spoke with a man, then came back and told her no, which was fine, but she was quite rude, and when my friend told her that that was ok, and that she’d be back at the bar after using the facilities, she made a face, rolled her eyes and walked away.
The entire exchange made us all incredibly uncomfortable, and after she left the restroom, we decided to find a bar with a more welcoming environment. On our way out, the bartender yelled across the crowded room, “Did you just come here to use the restroom?!” My friend was incredibly embarrassed, and I was so stunned by how incredibly rude they were, we left without saying anything.
We ended up going to the office, another bar nearby and had a great time, and didn’t feel uncomfortable at all.
I’m not sure if she was simply having a bad day or what, but we were very polite, and I’ve never had someone be so openly rude to me in my life. I won’t be back.

Great pool tables and great staff that owns and runs the place. The Shirley temples are mixed well unlike some other places and your always able to play pool at least when I’m in there.

Great bar! Very new and clean on the inside, great drink prices, smoking area outside thats heated in the winter. Good pool tables, caters to everyone, very fun place to go and the owners are so cool !! Id reccommend Crowbar to anyone! I love Crowbar!

Hows a place like this not packed every night? I chose to spend my cinco de mayo at The Crowbar. I took an Uber so obviously I didnt have to drive. It was quiet and wasnt much going on. But it was more welcoming than the other bars I was looking at going to.
I met the managers working the bar and already felt like this was the perfect place to drink and play pool. By the way the pool tables are amazing. A handful to choose from and the quality is outstanding.
I will be returning the first weekend of June to play some more pool and chat some more about the California beaches. Thank you Betty for an enjoyable experience.
