My first time here and I really enjoyed it! I had the Chile Verde with corn tortillas. The fried chips served with the salsa started the culinary experience off right. For my beverage I had a large Jamaica.

Caldo de rez was fatty, the meat tough and big chunks, the rice bland, the corn on the cob partially rotten, the cilantro wilty and definitely not fresh. The veggies tasted like they were frozen and reheated. It was my first time going there, and it will be my last time. The salsa was the only good thing.

Chicken was dry and had no flavor, all 3 of us that ate there had stomach problems shortly after. Asked for flower chips that we never got. Never got asked for refills. Bill never came we had to go to the register and wait 3-5 min to get someone there to let us pay. Waitress didn’t seem happy to be there at all. Also they had 2 different musics going at the same time which was really annoying. Used to love this place but it has gone WAY DOWNHILL…..

The food is very good, never got anything bad there. However, if you are picking up to go, make sure your order is correct. I’ve gotten home a few times to either find they used incorrect sauce or meet.

Yesterday, escalon rotary hosted a social at this restaurant. There was one server. Poor thing was SO busy but did such a great job! She was fast and efficient as well as courteous! Pretty sure there was only one chef too and a dishwasher. The food came out in a timely fashion and it was delicious! The ONLY bad thing was it was very hot in there, not sure what the A/C situation is. But great other than that.
