The restaurant was clearly overly staffed, but we did come early to dinner, so maybe the staff was waiting on the dinner rush from an event going on near campus. We were quickly seated. We got an appetizer of cheese curds which were scrumptious, especially with ranch. They had an excellent menu with a nice variety of burgers, sandwiches, etc. and even a separate bourbon menu with tons of options. I was a bit disappointed in the size of my whiskey cocktail because it was advertised in what looked like an 8 oz class and came in a small 4 oz glass. Our burgers were good, but a tad overpriced. I got the mac n cheese burger and it was a bit underwhelming. I didn’t care for the fries, but other people at my table found them tasty. I’d go again and try something else. My husband really recommended the restaurant after going once with his dad.

Good restaurant in a great area of town makes this an easy place to agree to go to and get a great bite to eat. Standard American burgers and with a quality beer selection. The cheese curds were phenomenal. The burger was great and the mix of french fries were also delightful. We had a large party and they no trouble accommodating us

If you like bar food, I’m sure this would be a great spot for you! My friends all love this place and they talk about the burgers often. I went here twice on a weekend and I want to say that I think the food is decent for bar type food. Both the servers would forgot to bring out waters even after asking several times and to check in during the service. The first night, we had ordered two appetizers to split and we didn’t finish them.

I ordered the “Taco Salad ” for takeout today. When I opened it up, there was no meat with the salad leaves. Just a few onions and shredded cheese. I paid $11.99 for some lettuce. I called the restaurant and was told that meat was $3.00 extra! I guess you can’t assume there would be meat in a taco salad. Not a happy customer.

Excellent food and good service. Most of the burgers are double quarter pound patties so be sure to ask for only one if that is too much for you. I liked that the fries were a mixture of different types: regular, curly, and cross-cut.

When there is a line outside of the restaurant you hope the food is worth it. This place did not disappoint the service was quick. The burgers did not disappoint I had the burger with chorizo and highly recommend it. My mother in law highly a flight she really enjoyed the choices. The best part of the food was the assortment of fries. The cheese curds have a unique style and highly recommended trying. They do offer gluten free buns and options. Definitely recommend stoping here for a bite

Great little place in the heart of La Crosse. We came in on a Sunday afternoon around 1:30pm, and there was no wait for a table. Still, the lunch took a while longer than expected to get to the table. Drinks were cold and the waitress did a good job checking in to see if we needed anything. Overall we had a great time there, and would definitely come back when in town next.

Super cool place. Stopped here with my 16 year old son. Looks like a cool place from the outside and even cooler inside. We both got the mac and cheese burger and it was excellent! I got an order of fries and it comes with several different types of fries which was pretty cool. We also each got a cup of mac and cheese. I had the three cheese cup of the day, and not being negative, but it wasn’t the best mac and cheese I’ve ever had, my son got the regular and he felt the same. It wouldn’t keep us from going back and the place has the same name as my favorite movie!!

Went to The Crow on a Friday night with 3 other people and were quickly greeted and added to their wait list. About 20 minutes went by amd we were seated. Server was great he got our fried pickles order in right away and kept the beers full. We ordered our main course and food took a little longer than expected but was well worth the wait. I got the crow burger with a gluten free bun and it was awesome, I would highly recommend. Wife got the honeymustard chicken and she said it was really good but didn’t care for the untoasted bread. Combo fries were good and the other members of our group said their food was really good. I would definitely revisit when in the area.
