So far the spicy fried pickles are awesome. Maybe a 3 on a scale to 10 as far as heat goes. But the texture and flavor are a solid 8.5. Very good!So far, the sweet tea is great, they help is friendly and the restrooms are clean along with the building itself. It used to be a movie theater. Very cool environment. Turkey bacon ranch sandwich is on point!!! Messy but oh so good. I give it a solid 9. Couldn’t taste any better. Only deducting a point for messiness. Lol the sweet potato fries were top notch. Maybe the best I’ve ever had. 10 for sure. If im in the area again, I would come back in a heartbeat!

The food was good. A bit pricey for what you get, but in this day and age that’s to be expected. My friend had a wonderful drink, poured by the owner, which was one of the best i have ever tasted. Our server took it upon themselves to change it, because the way she made it “looked prettier”. It was a major disappointment. They have a nice beer selection on tap and by the bottle. Our food took approximately 40 minutes to get with only 4 tables and 2 servers in the restaurant at the time. We had to go find our server or flag her down anytime we needed anything, although she was friendly and polite. All and all it was an OK experience. The quality of the food made up for the lacking in the service department.

Really neat atmosphere. Food was good. Appetizers and sides stole the show. Recommend cheese curds, onion rings and maple glazed brussel sprouts

We were road weary and hungry. Called them from the highway and Tina said they would accommodate our small dog. We stopped in and we’re greeted kindly. Our dog was welcomed and brought a bowl of water. The food was good and our dog was happy with a chicken strip. Highly recommend.

A converted old-time town theater, very nicely redecorated (except for the chairs). The decor is really great, but it’s not as good as the food which is very great! I had the pulled pork and the broccoli–no dessert. Highly recommended!

Stopped by here for lunch on our Anniversary. We were camping at the Withro state park outside of Huntsville. I had the chicken breast with bourbon glaze, with a twice baked potato and side salad. My wife had the salmon with honey glaze, brussel sprouts and green beans. Everything that we had was over the top delicious. The service was first class, and the food was hot. Joe suggested trying the bread pudding for dessert. They make it fresh when you order it, it takes about 12 minutes. It was probably the best I’ve ever tasted. The place is in a cool old theatre building. If you are in the area of Huntsville, it is definitely worth the stop. The prices are surprisingly low considering the quality of the food.

I googled places to eat Huntsville. Wow were we happy that I choose The Crooked Rooster. Most of us had their daily special, the Philly Cheesesteak and a side of honey glazed brussel sprouts. So good… so good. Everyone in my group thanked me for choosing this for lunch. The bread was soft and fresh. The brussel sprouts were fresh, cut, raw sprouts that they cooked to order.

Tasty American food, full bar, friendly staff and owners. unique historic location at the old movie theater in a charmingly rural Northwest Arkansas town. The Withrow Springs State Park is right down the road, and Eureka Springs tourist destination is another little stretch. It’s also in the way to/from the Buffalo National River. The area is a nice little getaway from Fayetteville/Bentonville.

Me and my husband were in town visiting with my parents and we decided to go to dinner to the crooked rooster for memory sakes because that’s where we had our first date. When we went back last year on that date we had an amazing time food was great service was great and the atmosphere was fantastic this being part of the reason why I wanted to go back just over a year later. This was our first date as a married couple and I figured it would be a nice date. When we get there our waitress told us to sit anywhere which is normal for a non busy day in a restaurant. I’m not mad at that I used to work as a waitress at many restaurants including a couple in Huntsville when I lived out here from when I was growing up. As we found our spot she told us she would follow behind well she did not it took us a while to get our menus which we blew off and didn’t care too much about. When we get our menus my husband went to the bathroom (he took maybe 5 minutes in the bathroom) and once he came back he didn’t even get sat down then she was back asking if we were ready and which we replied that we were still looking and just to give us another minute or two. Then it took her 20-30 minutes to get over to finally take our order which made us kind of pissy but we decided to just let it go once again because we understand. We decided we want drinks after we order our food and ask for a drink menu. We got to looking and my husband asked if it was possible to make a red beer and that’s when she said yes and ran off with asking if that’s what he wanted or if I even wanted anything and she come back with a bud light chelada I think is how you spell it. Which is essentially a red beer in a bottle meaning you don’t add anything but it’s also not the best and not what my husband wanted. If she would have waiting and continued to take our order he would have told her that he wanted the Bloody Mary mix with a beer. At this point we were getting a little aggravate when she gets back I finally get to tell her what I wanted. We finally get my drink and our food after what seems like forever and we’re eating and I’m almost done with my plate and our waitress walking by and said “girl you must have been hungry “ which is never anything you should say especially to someone you don’t know at all and is a customer. Before leaving that comment we were going to at least leave a $5 tip because I never not tip unless I leave pissed off which is very rare. But after the comment she made it drew the line and I looked at my husband and told him no tip because that’s just plain rude. Then we get the check and she charges us for the bud light drink along with two draft ultras and when we asked her she said the second draft was for the “red beer”. I have never had this terrible experience in my life and I’m normally a pretty patient person.

Stopped in with my wife and two other bikers in September for a cooldown and refresh. Sat down ordered drinks and were offered a free giant plate of pulled pork nachos! Fresh, hot and deeelicious! Had a few drinks with the nachos which the 4 of us couldn’t even finish…great little stop. Thank you from Independence, MO!
