I came to this location, the gentleman in the picture gave really great service, I asked what would he recommend for me to try he said the firefish sandwich , so that’s what I went with, it came out to like 22 with the tip. I was very excited to try it even though I felt like it was pricey. I got my box which looked amazing as you can see below. I opened it amazed by the presentation, at my fries which were on point. And. Trust I leave honest reviews and am a foodie, the seasoning of the fish was on point and the battering too, but the catfish had an off taste to it, like something wasn’t right with it, it was properly cooked texture wise but the taste was off of the actual catfish. I only took like 4 bites and couldn’t eat it I hate to waste food and money, I was really down about this because I was so excited, if I can get a chance to try something else, to replace what I spent on this I would appreciate it I was in a hurry because I was on lunch from work. The service was amazing, they cooked everything right it was just something off with the actual fish.

Every time I am in Raleigh I have to come here. Have always loved how good they make their sandwiches. The customer services is perfect as well. Would highly recommend the cod sandwich for anyone from the Deep South who miss some good beer batter cod.

It is my absolute pleasure to write this review and give it outstanding five stars. The food was hot, fresh, seasoned, everything you would want in fish and chips. The portions were large. I am a seafood connoisseur and I pride myself on fresh seafood. And I can undoubtedly say that 100% the food was fresh and amazing. If you are thinking about trying this restaurant I suggest 100% that you give it a try. I had the seafood platter with whiting, shrimp, and catfish. It came with small mush peas and french fries. The food was so delicious I actually came back the second day and had the whiting platter and it was undoubtedly just as amazing as the first day.

Ridiculous crispy! I was in high heaven. I got the box that lets you choose 3 different fish. I did catfish, cod, and haddock. The catfish was by far my favorite. It was super flavorful. I wish the others had some seasoning but it was for sure fresh. The hush puppies were fantastic. Definitely recommend. They even have an option to fry in beef fat for an up charge.

Im originally from Cape Cod, and know good fried fish and seafood. This place is bu far the best I’ve had in North Carolina. I got the Sailors Choice with cod, flounder, and shrimp the fish pieces were large, and there were plenty of large shrimp. Sides were hushpuppies, fries, and mushy peas. Everything was expertly seasoned and cooked. Even the tartar sauce was amazing! Run here NOW for an amazing meal at a phenomenal price.($24)

Drove an hour to visit this place for dinner tonight. It did not disappoint. The staff was awesome. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. We had the cod and it was cooked to perfection. Would recommend and will go back when in the area.

I literally crave the beef fat fries here.. they’re crispy, big portions, and delicious. The large beef fat fries are big enough to share for 4 people! Nigel, cohen, and Ben were the chefs tonight and Nigel was just the nicest, sweetest man! He asked if I had any questions or help with the menu, but I knew what I wanted! Staff is friendly, food is 10/10! Highly recommend!!!!! Will definitely be back for the beef fat fries!

I had the haddock , chips , and hush puppies and oh my goodness gracious it was SOOO GOOD! It is my new favorite! The tartar sauce is amazing which is impotent to me! The french fries were so crispy and delicious! The haddock was just amazing! My new favorite and I CANT wait to come back! Yum

Talk to them about what is the best that day and you will have an amazing meal for a great price. I got the fried flounder with chips and it was crispy and perfect. The potatoes, even reheated the next day, were so tasty and delicious. Great find in a large food hall.

The man who works here is super friendly and always has a smile, it brightens and warms my day every time I walk in here and see him! He also cooks the best cod sandwich I’ve ever had in my entire life and it’s always fresh and to order! His food is amazing and incredible!!! He goes out of his way to make sure you’re taken care of! I highly recommend his food for the experience and taste, it’s unmatched!
