Reviews
Yeah… I get it now. The Cricket consider me officially on Team Pizza. Definitely a must try! #pizza #tavernstyle
Their response to this says everything. Thank you for your acknowledgement.
Reading through your reviews show that others also have experienced this.
The fact that you would result to false implications of behavior that did not occure is a testament to your integrity. Not the type of character I would conduct business with.
Please feel free to post video of how you made your determination so others can fully appreciate your business acuity. Most businesses would apologize for their team not recognizing an out of state I.D. seems you are destined to continue not serving customers unless they are from Michigan.
Response to owner update…exactly what you can expect at this establishment in the owners own words!
1) Banning a customer from out of state is rather comedic given the reason for the review.
2) The entire purpose of making this public is to use my freedom of speach to write an accurate review to inform others what to expect. Your emotional response is indicative why you think you dont have to honor out of state I.D’s. Your very public response as you chastise, rant, and make false claims, while expecting I call you, simply illustrates your true sense of intitlment and lack of ownership.
3) Do you really believe your customers should research laws for you? It’s really not that confusing for the customer, when any state issues a I.D. then its valid. But since you asked for guidance you should reference “Full Faith and Credit Clause” (Article IV, Section I) of the U.S. Constitution.
4) No one else in the group was carded… you really should post the video. Of course then you couldn’t make outlandish claims.
5) The expectations of a tip after your acknowledgement to deny service with valid I.D. is clearly not satisfactory service and the reason we left. I did professionally discuss with staff and write on the receipt to attempt to inform you of the error. As you have eloquently noted that you were not interested is a conversation in the moment though more determined to enforce “house rules”, seems like you now want a phone call. Unfortunately, your narrative is disingenuous and clearly fabricated given the contradictory statements and unprofessional approach. Given my experience in person and your personal response, I have zero confidence you are capable of a civil discussion. II will elect to maintain my right to free speach and really encourage further dialog.
