We had a wonderful birthday dinner. The Creek has never disappointed us. I had an excellent ribeye while my wife enjoyed her halibut. The service here is always excellent. They provided my wife a complimentary birthday slice of rum cake. The guitarist was excellent without being intrusive.

I really wish we had a good experience here but I’m sad to say it was a huge let down

We picked this, while in Boerne, based on ratings and they didn’t miss. The food was outstanding, fresh, tasty. The service was prompt and accommodating. Do not miss an opportunity to eat here if you get one.

Really neat historical building, fantastic service and good food. Our waitress is the reason we will return! The food was good & drink menu was large. I really enjoyed my dessert of Crème brûlée My husband enjoyed the fried lobster though he thought the batter was a little overpowering. Over all we will definitely return.

The Creek is a beautiful place to enjoy a casual dinner or host a special event. We had appetizers on the deck overlooking the creek. They have a large menu and an extensive wine selection. The service was outstanding and the food was perfect. If we lived in town we’d be regulars. Thank you!

This was our first time dining here, and not sure at this point if we will be back or not as we like to give restaurants at least a second chance. The place itself is very quaint, tucked away and semi romantic.

This is our second time dining at The Creek; we won’t be back. Our waitress behaved like she was having a bad day and didn’t follow up on filling up water and taking/exchanging utensils. For the price we paid, we expect better service and (way) better food. The soup was plain; the cauliflower steak was over priced (it really was just a big chunk of cauliflower with some sautéed spinach, cherry tomatoes and caramelized onions). House-made lemonade was not house-made; polenta was replaced by mashed potatoes. When we brought up the discrepancy, the kitchen’s response was “this is what we have today”. The waitress didn’t notify us when we ordered and didn’t bother to make up for the discrepancy. The quail tasted like fried chicken wings covered in store bought sauce. It seemed like the standard was not what it used to be. It was very different from our previous experience. Not memorable and not recommended. Wish we had gone somewhere else instead.

Feels like a hidden gem! Very pretty view of the creek. Delicious food! Even the chef special soup (not pictured) was yummy. We had escargot, hubby said it was the best he’s had. Mussels & linguine, he likes a white wine sauce note, bug he’s a garlic lover. Said the red chorizo sauce was still yummy. I had the shrimp tampico. Perfectly cooked, great flavor, linquine on the side was tasty. Then when the chocolate mousse cake came out, hubby said “holy sh*t” louder than expected, it was big but so fluffy with mousse. Not rich, just creamy.

We ordered the $28 lobster roll which was tasteless and mostly Clow slaw. I had the calamari which was the thinnest sliced and breaded I have ever seen. Add to that my iceberg wedge was warm ended up with this review. We shared this disappointment with server Madison who told us “she doesnt do the cooking” and apologized. We tipped her fair, will not return. Has great atmosphere and a stunning menu. Too bad it just didn’t deliver in this visit.
