What a great experience. Beth was our server, very knowledgeable prompt and so kind! We were started with hush puppies in lieu of bread and honey butter, so good. Then I got the catch of the day (grouper/there was double what there was in the picture to start with) – growing up fishing and frying catfish, this is the best fish I have ever had in a restaurant – others at the table got low country boil and the she crab soup. Everything tasted wonderful. They played great music and not too loud. There was plenty of parking. Overall great atmosphere. You can make reservations. We did not but we’re still able to easily grab a table. Can’t say enough kind things about Beth.
Important note for self, the hot sauce they have in house is Texas Pete.

Outstanding food, excellent service, and breathtaking views.
Very good food with great variety, and fresh daily specials.
We have visited twice and both times have been excellent.
We were met instantly with a basket of warm hush puppies, which are habit forming, but save room…
I had the blackened redfish, which is grilled , not fried. It was fresh and delicious.
I also tried the crab cake app and also, delicious. As our wonderful waitress, Beth, said, “Ours has crab in it!”
All of Beth’s suggestions were spot-on.
Another enjoyable and satisfying meal in a very well run restaurant.

Perhaps we ordered the wrong things but I didn’t find anything special about the food here. In fact many of the restaurants in the area taste the same. When we ordered oysters, we asked where they were from and what kind. Our lovely waiter, bless his heart, said they were from West Virginia. Being from Maryland or anywhere in the east coast, we know that WV doesn’t have local oysters. There’s no such thing as WVI oysters. Anyway, the Captain’s Pot was decent; for $47 you get steamed crab legs, small shrimp, half a lobster, and some shuck-yourself oysters, a corn, and two potatos. The gator bites were tasty but small with batter takin up most of the bites. Oysters were good and the mahi sandwich was ok, it’s hard to mess that up.
Overall a decent meal with decent service but nothing jumps out as a ‘must go’ place. It falls in like with the rest of the waterfront locales in the area.
A big plus is that they’re very dog friendly and the outdoor seating is a very nice touch.

Basket of Hush Puppies to start. Cold Sweet Tea. Ice cold beer and fresh seafood. What else do you want? The Aligator Bites portion was a little small. Only gripe. Awesome location with a view of the water with a massive outdoor patio and large indoor dining area. Great for families, couples or whoever. The food was delicious. It was super fresh. The wait staff was quick and efficient. The manager even stopped by to ask how everything was at the end. Just all around a great time. Total bill was about $250 with most of the seafood being Market Price. Well worth it.

We had a party of 5 and were seated promptly after making a reservation in advance. Nice nautical decor. Large basket of hush puppies was served to keep us happy until the entrees were done. Everyone was very happy with their meals.

This place deserved a five star rating but our service is why it didn’t make it. She asked us if we wanted an appetizer and did not give us a chance to reply before she took off. I ordered crab stuffed flounder, fries and slaw. The flounder was delicious but my fries were cold. Hubby ordered seafood platter. It came with 3 oysters, 4 shrimp, 1 piece of flounder, a mini crab cake the size of a large hush puppy, cold fries, and slaw. It’s was all good but the fries were cold. Our waitress gave us the food and didn’t come back until we were done with our entrees… fries still not eaten. When she came back I was telling her about the fries when she cut me off like she knew already. She came back with a small basket of fries that was not the amount the we both had on our platters, but they were of different caliber for sure. They were hot and had seasoning on them. The others had no seasoning. She was obviously ready to be done cause when we left she was heading out the door also. The view is great and most of the food…I’ll go back probably but want a different waitress.

We shared the crab dip and the seafood boil. Then shared the key lime pie for dessert. Hush puppies were free. Food was very good. Hush puppies definitely excellent just not sure if they were as good as Hudson’s. Key lime pie was the best part – I would give it a 10. We brought the dogs and sat on the patio. The view is lovely. The weather was lovely also.

Great place for seafood and to sit outside by the intercoastal on a nice day. We had dinner outside on a gorgeous December day (80 degrees!) and the sunset was beautiful. The food was great. I had the broiled seafood platter with flounder, shrimp, scallops, and a crab cake. It was like $33 which I think is what you would expect to pay for something like this. It’s not Captain Ds people. They were busy so the service was a little slow with our server but we did get to sit down immediately and had a great conversation over a great meal and a great view. We will be back.

The food is consistently good. My wife loves the hush puppies. They are complimentary here, many of the other area restaurants charge for them. The service is good and the atmosphere is lively. You can never go wrong eating here.
