What a find! We had an incredible experience at The Crawlspace Gastropub! We tried the short ribs, Crawlburger, fries, North Shore shrimp, and the spam musubi. Every single dish was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The short ribs were unbelievably tender, the burger was juicy and delicious, and the shrimp had the perfect kick. The fries were SO good! The atmosphere is cozy and fun, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. This place is a must-visit on Mercer Island. We’ll definitely be coming back!
The menu is Korean-ized pub food, like bulgogi tacos or burgers, wings, bowls, etc
To be clear, it’s good. It’s definitely worth a visit. I especially liked the house made corn tortillas, better than what I’ve had at most Mexican restaurants in the local area.
Ben the bartender was awesome, funny, and made a great old fashioned. Ben had double duty bartending and serving the high tops. He was extremely attentive and never missed a beat.
Appreciated that they had a few runners for the food, water, and cleanup. I also had a nice conversation with Thomas, another server, who was very informative of the history of ‘The Crawlspace’ and it’s food.
Great time. Definitely be back!
Try the taco flight. It’s absolutely incredible.
This is a must-visit restaurant if you’re ever on Mercer Island! The menu is packed with local kine grindz with a delicious Korean BBQ twist you’ll absolutely love. Their hostess Mirin greeted us with a beautiful smile and aloha. Jason came to our table to check on us and knowing we were locals from Hawaii, he sat down with us to talk stories. Truly a customized experience.
Jason’s story is inspiring—his grandfather founded the original Liliha Bakery, and his uncle opened Yummy’s BBQ on Oʻahu. Truly carrying on a legacy of aloha through food.
Ordered double cheeseburger, there was kind of mix up and my order went to another table, so my dish came out late. The chef I assume was very apologetic and had good customer service skills.
The burger and fries are excellent! Highly recommend it.
I would definitely come back here but not on Tuesday!
Enjoy!
