Go here at least twice a week and I’m always impressed. The ladies there are so nice, quick, and professional. The breakfast sandwiches are giant and they don’t skimp!! Food is fresh and out quickly every time. The croissant sandwhiches are my favorite! Great location.

I stopped at Manhattan Bagel in Manahawkin last month and ordered two super cinnamon bagels. I told the lady at the register that I was going to eat one in the car and asked if she could slice it for me, so she had it sliced. It wasn’t until I got back in the car and looked at the receipt that I noticed that I was charged ten cents for it to be sliced. I mean, come on!! I realize it’s only ten cents, but how ridiculous is that?! And why wasn’t I advised that there was a slicing charge? I was also charged an additional ten cents for each bagel with no explanation as to what that was for. I’m so sick of the rising cost of so many things, and I get that costs rise and have to be passed onto the customer. But I absolutely cannot believe that they’re now charging to slice the bagels! That is just over the top and to my mind unacceptable. Just on principle I won’t be returning to Manhattan Bagel. And a warning: ask for your receipt and check it out while you’re in the store. Who knows what else they’re charging for?

After picking up my food and returning home, my sandwich was sloppily made and it had ketchup all over the bagel and the bagel was soaking wet and soggy just a mess. It even had a condiment on it that I didn’t even ask for!! I will never come back to this Manhattan Bagel again! It seems as though whoever prepared my sandwich was in a rush and didn’t care how they made it. Horrible order handling!!!

I stopped by Manhattan Bagel and was blown away by how fresh and flavorful everything was. The bagels were perfectly chewy on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. I tried the Avocado Veg Out on and it was so delicious and satisfying!
The staff was friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. The shop was clean, cozy, and had a great neighborhood vibe.

It’s hit or miss.. I get the same thing every time I go. Bagel with 1egg, cheese and extra bacon, pepper and ketchup.. I didn’t get extra bacon, and what I did get didn’t look cooked, so much ketchup that I had to wipe off the bagel before I could pick it up and no pepper.. certainly not worth the money I spent!

We have been coming for several years because the food is fresh and delicious, the staff, especially Julie are friendly always smiling and personalable(she remembers our names). The restaurant is clean and we LOVE the music played. We can always find a table and sometimes enjoy the outdoor seating too. Best time at Manhattan Bagel in Manahawkin NJ!

The place met my expectations of a nice and quick lunch. If you are in a hurry, they can be quite quick, especially with TO GO orders. I had a Bagel and it was just what I wanted. The selection is nice and the staff was professional and friendly.

Very good bagels. Could be I was hungry and this was what was available but they seem to be pretty consistently good. Will definitely go again either out of necessity or choice.
