Craft Bar was an absolute gem! We were meeting family, and this was our second choice, but it turned out to be the best choice. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, stylish, and welcoming. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making our visit feel special.
The food was the real star—creative, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The food menu was just as impressive, with fresh ingredients and flavors that pair perfectly with the drinks. Whether you’re out for a casual meal or celebrating something special, Craft Bar won’t disappoint. Highly recommended!
The location was tucked into a small shopping center away from all the hubbub at the beach, but that makes it all the more attractive to us.
Great list of craft beer choices.
A nice little wine and cheese shop is attached, you should easily find your favorite beverage. Not much cheese, since their refrigerator went out.
Check this out if you want something different than the tourist fare on the Fort Walton waterfront.
As a resident I tend to venture out and try new restaurants that I have not been to on special occasions. This was my husband’s birthday and I had made reservations and had been planning this dinner for 3 days, because when I read the menu it stated it had different seafood items that we had been craving. Upon entering the parking lot, we were almost hit from behind from a nurse that was apparently late for her job at the chiropractor’s office next door to the craft bar. She was extremely rude. This alone was an omen. The atmosphere is wonderful. Very classy quiet great seating the lighting was romantic and the people seem to really have a great time being there.
Are appetizers were fabulous. Fish tacos in fried green tomatoes! Needless to say the wine that my friends and I ordered was extremely tasty and I never had that particular brand. The two things that I noticed, that stood out oddly was the fact that our waiter seemed to be the only one working the floor and the cook in the back was extremely generous with a seasoning of some sort that was being thrown around up in the air and swirled around. It was actually kind of funny! So that I could complete my mission, I ordered the dish that I had been craving for days which was the fish and chips and my husband got the steak and fries! A pretty simple order I assumed. My friend noticed how salty her fries were and we just went on drinking our wine and it didn’t bother us at the moment. I found My fries we’re extremely salty and plus I really came for the fish. As my husband began to eat he stated that his steak tasted funny. He’s not usually critical about his food, but I tasted it to see maybe what the problem was because this was his birthday dinner. In fact I realize the steak was extremely salty I knew it wouldn’t be a good idea and he did not care for the dish due to its extreme saltiness. I summon the waiter to explain our issue in maybe we could come to some resolution or maybe reorder without so much salt. He immediately grabbed his iPad hastily and stated that since we weren’t going to use it we need it to let him have it back. No worries at that time I also explained that I saw that he was rushing us and that there was no need for that because we were simply trying to rectify our order and carry on with our night. He then began to raise his hand pointed his finger in my face and told me that he didn’t have time for this, continue to shake his finger in my face and told me that this is not what he came to work for and walked off, very hastily blowing his hand up in the air brushed & us off. As he walked away I told him to get his manager. He pointed at someone at the bar and flung his finger back and told them he can go handle them. I’m very calmly in extremely agitated though at the time begin to explain. The manager was extremely nice about it he understood as I explained to him that I had not eaten since 7:00 a.m. that morning and was very hungry and had been planning this trip for days to this particular spot. I really appreciate how the manager handled this situation. Apparently this is just a bad night. But it was clear the foods bland nest had been masked with over salting the food, and our waiter was rude, nasty, belligerent & less than accommodating to customers that were really venturing out to try new things in new places. But I will add the wine was worth the trip!!! I included the screenshot of my friend explaining that her roommate stated the to-go food that was brought home- although it was a cheeseburger & fries, she called it SALT CEREAL!!!!!
