I’m giving it four stars because the staff were fantastic. The eggs, hash browns and bacon were delicious. The pancake was as big as my head! BUT and I don’t say this lightly because I’m a number one fan of breakfast foods- BUT the biscuits for the biscuits and gravy tasted as if they were a day or two old and heated up. The middles were soft but the edges took on that rock hard quality that occurs when you heat bread up in the microwave for too long…ughhhh! Other than that the food, service, cleanliness, decor were great!

First time visiting and I absolutely will be back! The service, food and atmosphere were top notch! I had the Scatter and asked for my onions extra well done… I was not disappointed!! They were perfect! The waitress was friendly, cheerful and eager to make sure our experience was perfect. The owner even cashed us out! She is super sweet and friendly. Trust me when I say, you NEED to go try it!

My husband and I ate here yesterday for the first time, we live out of town and visit Mountain Home often and never knew about this hidden little gem. The food was absolutely amazing I had the western omelette and my husband at there buffet. They had the coolest little band playing. I have never been to a breakfast restaurant with live music it really set the atmosphere off. They were extremely busy had a full restaurant with 2 amazing girls kicking butt. One of the girls, Jessica went out of her way to make sure we had the best first time experience and the service those girls gave to each of their customers is why we will be back every time we come to town. Highly recommend!!

A+++ A refreshing experience! Fast friendly staff! Excellent home cooked meals! We had the Sunday buffet..We will absolutely be back again and again! Reminds me of Mom and Grandma’s cooking! Talked to the owner and she is most definitely here to stay! Keep up the Awesome Job! And hopefully the community will keep you busy!

I’m going to say that their biscuits and gravy are absolutely delicious. However, today I tried to come back and place it to go order because I have to work and I can’t eat inside. They had five cars in the lot because I was here when I tried to place the order for just two orders of biscuits and gravy and she would not take it to go order because she said they were too busy. And I’m a good tipper you lost out. ♀️
Update…. I did leave a good review about the food, obviously you didn’t read my words. What I did not understand was why you were so busy with five cars on the lot that you could not throw some biscuits and gravy into a container. I had to work and I was hungry! You didn’t come through so yeah the service sucks but the food is good. ♀️ sorry if that upset you. But I feel that way for a valid reason!
Also, after looking at your other reviews and how rude you are throughout all of your replies, when you didn’t like what you heard. I don’t expect to see you next year when I come back. You cannot maintain a business with that kind of behavior with your guests.

Jessica was our waitress. She is always friendly, and always trying to make sure her customers are taken care of in a timely manner. They were busy as usual, but that’s to be expected. Every time we have been there, especially on the weekends, it’s usually busy, but everything is still in a timely manner, with a pleasent smile. Also, the newer girl, Myra, is doing a great job as well.. The band is a little different, but it makes for a fun environment, not to loud and they play very well . I definitely enjoyed the bad this morning. All and all, 5 out of 5 and we will see y’all again next weekend. Keep up the great work girls..

Tried this place for the first time today. Ended up having an awful experience. My waitress was lovely, however the woman who runs the place was not. As I was sitting, trying to enjoy the awful food, all I could hear was her barking at the poor employees. As I could tell, none of the poor girls were even doing anything wrong. Sad excuse for an owner of a restaurant. It’s actually you who needs Jesus ma’am. Won’t be coming back ever again. Hope this place gets shut down and the poor girls who work there finally get freed.

Went to this place a while back with my family and I have not been back since.
When we got there, you can almost feel it in the air that someone or something was off. So that made us uncomfortable.
Then, the food wasn’t really the greatest but it was edible. My mom didn’t finish her plate and told the waitress it wasn’t good. There wasn’t any compensation for that, though.
What really gets me though?
I’ve followed what has been said online about this place and I’m very disappointed with the owners comments and how she reacted to the customers. If you want to see what I’m talking about? Please check out any of the Mountain Home Review pages on Facebook and see for yourself.

My family and I went to eat breakfast this morning. We waited 15 minutes before they came took our drink order. Granted they said short handed but only had 7 people dinning in. Finally 20 more minutes they took our food order but 40 minutes later still no food then waitress came asked to re take our order. I get they where short handed and accidents happen but not 40 minutes later. I asked to speak to manager and the owner came out RUDE is saying it nice. I have never been to a place of business that the owner talked so bad to a customer. After being treated with disrespect I then lost my cool. I will NEVER return there nor will I ever recommend it again to anyone.
