We saw all the reviews online and decided last second to go try it. It wasn’t great. The fried rice was overcooked and didn’t have much flavor. The Buns were soft though. The roasted pork was ok, almost overcooked. A bit hard to chew.
The poor girl at the front seemed so overwhelmed that she kept forgetting not just part of our order, but the other patrons there as well. It would be best to have someone else hired for the front to assist her. The other guy from the back came to help her when it got to be too many people in the restaurant and a slew of incoming calls for takeout orders. They do have a sign posted at the front saying ‘help wanted’. I hope they find it soon.
The inside of the restaurant is ok. It does seem a bit outdated and needs a revamp. The chairs are work and torn in some places and the material scratches the back of your legs when you’re seated on it.
Probably won’t be back here, but at least we gave it a chance to try.

Loved it, I’ve been on the island for a few years and have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant. This is one of my favorites, staff was amazing, tea was lovely and I always judge a place by the peaking duck first it was fantastic

Food was meh, noodles and rice were too dry, some of the food was too greasy, and overall not great. The floors are sticky for some reason, the flies were annoying, and there was a dead cockroach on the floor right near our table. Still have it a shot because it’s Hawaii, I get cockroaches are everywhere. But we will not be coming back. Waitress was very nice though

Overpriced for very very small portion s. The dining smells and not sanitary.

Orange chicken was way over cooked and was so chewy it was almost inedible. Won ton tasted like old fryer oil. The beef in oyster sauce was tender & flavorful – the only redeeming quality of the meal. Fried rice was fried rice. NOT worth $90.

As you can see, the bad comments are from years ago. I am a Waianae boy, and the place I used to hate myself, now has new management. The interior is re-done, and brand new. The staff are very friendly, and the food was awesome for the price. The pork was more meaty than most places. I am even planning my wife’s baby shower there next month! Cool AC, Clean plates. Fresh hot tea served free with your meal. If you have not been there for a while, please do re-visit. I live Waikiki, but I know this place is better than most Chinese based places I ate in town.

Food is amazing ! But if you come in at 7:30pm don’t come in because you will get turned down if wanting to dine in. They close at 8pm so don’t waste time in coming .
Waiter will turn you away if it’s 7:30pm . Don’t waste your time .

Absolutely disgusting! This restaurant is DIRTY! Between the old, reused rice, and the roaches I will literally never eat there again. zero stars. I do not recommend.
